A unique beautifully restored Cowhouse over 200 years old in a peaceful setting in County Tipperary. At the foot of the mountain Sliabh na mban, The Cowhouse offers two separate holiday homes.oodles of character, all modern kitchen conveniences, power shower and separate laundry room. Less than a mile from shop and pub and a 5 minute drive to Carrick On Suir. Fabulous stone walls with hayloft at mezzanine level where farm workers used to sleep above the animals. Picturesque-perfect location to relax/walk/cycle/explore our heritage.
I love everything outdoors and will help you to explore the area by car, on foot, by bicycle or on horseback! I love to cllmb mountains and explore the woods and cycling along the Blueway or Greenway cycling paths. I enjoy baking and welcoming people from different cultures to our home and to making guests feel welcome. I speak French so we hope to welcome some guests from France too!
Steeped in history with the Ahenny High Crosses, Ormond Castle in Carrick on Suir, Kilkenny Castle and city just a 25 minute drive away and the fabulous museum in Waterford city just 30 minutes away. A choice of beaches within 40 minutes. Lots of vibrant towns and villages many of which offer festivals during the summer months.
