It was busier and bigger than I expected but offered all needed. The Swords Express Bus service works really well. You need exact coins as no change nor card facilities are offered on the bus. Swords is the perfect destination for exploring the area; being close to the airport and for frequent trips into Dublin. It also gives easy access to the Motorway if you wish to explore a further afield.

We chose the Old Borough Hotel because it was easy distance to the airport. We have been to Wetherspoons on many occasions so know what to expect meals/drinks wise etc. Was super impressed with the hotel accommodation.

if like me you need this for a layover at Dublin Airport, don't choose this one. It's not on a bus route or walkable so you have to take a cab, which added $20 to my stay. The curtains didn't close all the way and I happened to be on the first floor looking directly at peoples cars. One of only two USB ports didn't work but thankfully one did so I could set an alarm and make it to the airport on time.

I was extremely excited to go to this hotel from the pictures that I viewed and was deeply disappointed when we arrived. Our room looked nothing like any of the photographs. I would never have stayed there if I saw the quality of the room. I will not be back.

This hotel was very well placed for our needs whilst in Dublin, near to the airport and an easy ride into the centre of Dublin. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and very helpful, organising taxis and giving us advice about Dublin. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and made us feel very welcome. It was really handy that we could walk downstairs and find a comfortable spot to have a drink, sit and chat and have a meal. We would highly recommend this hotel and would book it again if we go back to Dublin.

I did not avail of the beautiful breakfast on offer as we had to catch a flight at Dublin airport which very convenient only 15 minutes away. I must add the owner made sure We had something in our stomachs and had fresh fruit bowl ready for us. I have travelled far and wide within the island of Ireland using BnBs but this is in my top 5 to stay at. Mary the owner went above and beyond her duties to print out paperwork we needed to board our flight during the covid restrictions. We will be back.

Room clean Room great size for a family. Breakfast very good and plenty served kids eat free which is good considering all 1 of mine had a small bowl of cereal. Location good mcdonalds hoggs and heiffers restaurant beside hotel. 20mins drive to centre of dublin/zoo Tescos around the corner. Parking good facilitates at back of hotel free. Whatever you do dont park at coffee shop at side of hotel they lock you in after 5pm, put a sticker on your car and they clamp you!!

Host was kind and welcoming. Room was comfortable, lovely view of the nearby park. Newly renovated bathroom. Fantastic spread of breakfast goodies, tea, coffee, juices, fruit, yogurt, etc. we walked to a fun pub for dinner, but most would need to drive to restaurants. Airport was just a 12 minute drive. So much cozier than soul-less airport hotel. Highly recommended.

First of all, the hotel is perfect, very clean and very well maintained. Everything is perfectly indicated for key collection and room entry. The person in charge of the hotel is very kind and professional. It's a 10/10 all is perfect, I recommend you to go there. What's more, the center of Dublin is about 20 minutes away by cab. Thank you very much!

Convenient to Airport and there was a nice pool. Breakfast was fairly typical - a good Irish breakfast. The staff were all helpful and very nice. If you had time for a round of golf, it would be a great place to stay. Since we arrived late and had to leave by checkout to catch a flight, I probably would pick another hotel next time.

If your travelling trying to experience the Irish culture, the bar is a local pub for some of the older more conservative Irish residents where you will experience the language the jokes and of course the Guinness. The hotel staff was very friendly and Swords has very interesting little gems to explore.

This hotel is 10 minutes from Dublin airport and that's why we chose it. But it's nothing like a boring airport hotel. It's got charm and character and you can walk to several good restaurants within a few minutes. Very kind and helpful staff and bonus points for the hotel hiring Ukrainian refugees.

What a pleasant stay at a charming hotel. So very convenient to DUB airport, but also a wonderful property. Swords Round Tower plus St. Columba church are a short walk away and historic gems ✔️ Air conditioned rooms/sleep were truly a treat. The Wetherspoon hotels have my attention!

The owner was very helpful and friendly. We could walk to the bus stop and travel all over this part of Ireland, switching to trains when needed. It was in a rural setting but easy to get to Swords by bus. The breakfast was great and the decor was beautiful.

The proximity to the airport; getting to the airport at that time of the morning can be difficult. The room was exceptionally clean, well appointed and very comfortable. It had everything one could want in a hotel room at a very reasonable price.
