We missed our flight so needed a hotel close to airport with 2 rooms. This hotel exceeded our expectations and turned a nightmare day into a fabulous evening. We cannot compliment this hotel enough, the atmosphere was so friendly and you felt you had turned up at a friends house. We sat by the fire with our drinks in one of their cosy lounge areas talking to other guests and then moved to the restaurant to eat. The FOOD was amazing. Our only regret we had to leave before breakfast!

Built in 1793, Carrygerry is a charming country house on Ireland’s scenic County Clare Coast. It boasts an award-winning restaurant overlooking Shannon Estuary, individually designed bedrooms and free Wi-Fi. The elegant bedrooms at Carrygerry Country House are decorated with antiquities and some have 4-poster beds. Rooms include TVs, hairdryers and some have countryside views. On arrival guests are offered tea in the quaint Green Room. The Conservatory Restaurant has floor-to-ceiling windows and serves modern Irish cuisine using produce from local farmers. A fine wine list accompanies the menu. Shannon Airport and Dromoland Castle are both within a 10-minute from the Carrygerry Hotel. The centre of Shannon and Shannon Golf Club are 2 miles away and free parking is available at the Carrygerry.

Located near Shannon, in the scenic countryside of County Clare we are less than 10minutes from Shannon International Airport. Here, you will experience a true Country House atmosphere of peace & tranquillity, with antique furnishings & glowing fires. Carrygerry has eleven bedrooms, all of which are en-suite with each one individually styled and decorated in keeping with the character of the house. Of the eleven bedrooms we have four rooms which are Superior. These rooms have the extra luxury of a Four Poster bed as well as the wonderful views of the countryside. Our Superior bedrooms are decorated to a high standard with antique furnishings guaranteed to give a great nights rest. Our 2 Classic Bedrooms also overlook the beautiful countryside with views of the River Shannon. Our Courtyard bedrooms are our Standard Bedrooms which have all been decorated to the same high standard offering an excellent location to rest yourself after a busy day touring the Wild Atlantic Way. Carrygerry Country House was built in 1793 and was a private residence up until 1988 when it was restored and renovated into a beautiful Country House Hotel.
