The area around the beach is more like a holiday resort but the streets around are fascinating. The higher you go the more you can see of the surrounding area. There are two viewpoints which must not be missed. It is designed for a relaxed stay with family and friends rather than a party all night town.

We have been staying in Balatonalmadi since we were children...
We have been staying in Balatonalmadi since we were children and now bring our own children. We like the Wesslenyi strand and even though our hotel has it's own strand we don't mind paying a few hundred forint to get access to the Wesslenyi. We like the bar there and also the varied selection of eating places. We liked the Goulash restaurant and also the Magayros Langos. We also like the pedaloes and the bouncy floating activity area for the children. The strand is very clean and the lounger hire is reasonable at £3 per day. We also like the shade created by the abundant trees. Can't wait to go back next year.AAnonymous

It was spatious, and the air conditioning in the bedrooms worked very well. We were pleased that we could still use the swimming pool even though we arrived very late ( I think is was open until 21 or 22). The kitched seemed very well equipped, but we did not have time to use it. The breakfast was good and varied, and had both outdoor and indoor seating. The location was very good and only a short walk from the beach. Good parking space behind the hotel.

Property has it's own private pool and is child friendly. Car parking possible for 2 to 3 cars on the private parking place in front of the villa or on the street with is a 15 meter walk. In close vicinity are supermarkets, bakeries where you can have breakfast and lunch, restaurants, bars and the Balaton lake. All in walking distance.

The kitchen is small but modern, it worked for us though we only used it for breakfast. Nice bathroom. The place is very near to Balaton, and there is a pizza place on the other side of the road. The host is friendly and helpful (speaks English). We booked the same day we should have arrived and there wasn't any problem. Can recommend the place.

Very clean room, super comfy bed and good facilities. The staff was very kind and the communication with the hotel was straightforward. We plan to go back next year too. We highly recommend this hotel!
