Brilliant city, we only had a few days and wished we had longer. I’d say you need a car to get around but because we didn’t need to use public transport I can’t really comment on how good it is. Loads to see and do, went with a young family and they loved the sea organs!

Zadar is such a gem, I cannot recommend this city enough. I visited in early April and the weather was fantastic but there were not many tourists so that was a positive. All shopkeepers, waiters, and people in hospitality/tourism I spoke with were all so friendly. Zadar is an ancient city interesting for all kinds of tourists during the whole year. It offers beautiful historical spots in the old town and beautiful beaches nearby. We only spent one nice here but had a great time. We drove from Rijeka. Turned our cars in at the airport and ubered back to our Hotel. The city has a cool young vibe. Went to a cool outdoor bar and Bistro mere steps from our hotel. Very enjoyable city.

Zadar is a beautiful city. There is so much to see and enjoy. Sunsets were breathtaking. So many lovely cafes, bars & restaurants & all very reasonably priced. The apartment was perfect, spacious and very well equipped. For anyone who wants to self cater, there is a more than an adequate supply of pots, pans, crockery and other cooking & serving utensils. Furnishings are very comfortable. The apartment is a 15-20 minute walk from the Old Town. I found it to be a safe & easy walk. It was nice, after a day sightseeing, to return to a quiet residential area. A bit like a home away from home. The owners were there to greet me when I arrived and they were very welcoming and helpful. I would be very happy to return to Stunning apartment and to recommend it to family & friends.

The parking was very convenient right in front of the hotel. Our room was very nice and had a nice view of the Sea. The staff was excellent ... very friendly and helpful! Whenever we visit Zadar again, we will definitely stay at the Hotel Nico.

We didn't have to buy or use the basics we took with us. This apartment is stylish, comfortable and well managed. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Its not cheap to stay here but 5* quality comes at a price.
