Trogir is a small town with a couple of things to see in the very center - the old town. It's small enough that you can just walk around and see everything. We ate burgers at Big Mom's - they were good.

Our stay this time was very short but we liked the atmosphere of the old town. Lots of tourists still but quieter in the evening. walking inside the old town is easy, it is so small that one cannot get totally lost, the sea always lurks at the end of some street. The main road outside the old town is now under repairs, that a litte bit cursed difficulties for walking - but a passing problem! Maybe the walking bridge - which was not in use now - will also be repaired.

I love Trogir, it was my second visit.
I love Trogir, it was my second visit. The city has all these little streets and historical buildings that are very cool to see. The town gets a bit crowded in the evenings, if you want to explore, it's better to do during the day time. There is a number of small museums but they aren't very informative or interesting, I planned two days for the sightseeing and museums but that was too much time.
That said, it's a magical experience walking those cobblestone streets having the city's long history in mind. It's obviously not at the scale of Dubrovnik or Split but it's a lot less crowded.

Old town trogir is a beautiful place.
Old town trogir is a beautiful place. It's quite small so you can easily walk through it in few hours. Bars and restaurants are abundant.
We visited in October which I guess is not high season. The temperarture was perfect, 25 C during the day and still pleasent in the evening. A very relaxing stay.
We visited the castle and the museum. Neither of them was very impressive. The castle should only be visited for the view. There is not much to see inside.

Nice little town with cool old streets.
Nice little town with cool old streets. I found a few places with live music in the evening, and several places with good food. The only thing I don't really like is all the big boats blocking the view. (Like yachts.)
Hotel is located 100m from the island with historical old city, with a view on it. Rooms are spacious and equipped with everything one needs during stay. What is surprising and unexpected is the friendliness and solicitude of the staff. Honestly speaking, I've never visited a hotel with such attitude. We got a welcome meal the day we arrived and on third day hotel presented us a supper with traditional Croatian food.
Breakfast are nice and filling. Advantage is a parking behind a hotel, as you are in city centre...
The Guest house is located right in the center of Trogir, everything is close by. It was nice to have a basic set of cuttlery and plates available in the room (we did not book a studio apartment) and the fridge is also very convenient when it is so hot in Croatia. We stayed two nights, so it would have been nice to be provided 4 packs of coffee instead of just 2.
We received a list of recommended restaurants a couple of hours after check in via Whats app and were then informed to ask questions there if needed.
Palace Central Square was in the heart of Trogir with beautifully appointed accommodations. The communication was timely and clear and the welcome was warm and genuine. We felt safe, comfortable (great air conditioning!), and close to all of the restaurants (with great recommendations) and shops nearby. We had a very spacious room with a small sitting area, and large windows that, when opened, could hear the bells of the nearby St. Lawrence Cathedral - amazing! Thank you Ivan, for such a memorable experience!
We had a fantastic time with Blaźenka and Ivan. What incredibly sweet and helpful people.
The apartment is also perfect. It is spotlessly clean and everything is there for a wonderful stay.
The kitchen is very complete. We were able to cook ourselves every evening.
The terrace is great. Very spacious and with a nice seating area.
We would absolutely come back when we go to Croatia again and it is highly recommended if you want to visit Split and Trogir. The island of Ciovo itself is also very beautiful.
The honesty and hospitality of the staff. When I arrived I was told that the air conditioning was not working and that they would be happy to find me a hotel within walking distance at a similar pricew with working AC. They were so nice about it, I just decided to stay. Didnt really need AC that night, anyway. Got a discount on the room when I checked out. Really liked how the people at the hotel dealt with this crisis. Nice place anyway, with the room looking out over the Trogir harbor.
Very nice accomodation with swimming pool, which was very good for our kids. I have to say it's still not very standard to have swimming polo in croatia as part of accomodation, I mean when you don't go to a hotel. Do this was very much positive. Very nice and helpful owner Ms. Nada. It wa very close to the beach, so this we were really appreciating especially with the kids after long day on the beach 😊 I really recommend this accomodation.
The apartment is very large, clean and well-equipped. Communication with Josip was excellent. It is on the third floor without and elevator, so this could be an issue for some. Parking space right in front of the building. The balacony was very nice, though only with a view to other buildings. It was close to the beach, although the beach was overcrowded and not as nice as other beaches we have been to in Croatia.
The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The location was good, close to the old town. The room was a suitable size, the air heat pump was a big plus! The bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was also varied, you could fill your stomach. We also took a dip in the hotel's pool, although it was not heated. Airplanes flew overhead, but it didn't bother us personally.
Very good location to walk into Trogir. Staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to help us with luggage and logistics.
Breakfast was as very good. We had dinner and then later, dessert at the hotel restaurant, Mare. Our waiter made great wine suggestions and our meals were excellent in the quiet, cool courtyard
It was excellent time in Lucija apartment.
Owner is very nice and helpfull. Welcomed our family with bread and domestic wine :-)
Flat was clear and a very good enquipmented.
Very nice seaside vie.
Near to Trogir - for me one of the most beautifull croatian cities.
I'm sure we will come back here someday in the future :-)
Really nice hotel just a short walk away from the old town of Trogir. Very good included breakfast, great shower and comfortable bed. My room also has a nice little balcony with a sunset view towards the old town. It's also just a short drive to the airport, so a great place to stay the night before your flight 😉
We had a lovely time at Stela Apartments. We arrived at 11:30pm and the reception was the kindest. The hosts are fantastic people, it was a real pleasure to cross their road for our first day in Croatia. If we the opportunity to come back in Trogir, we will definitely come back to Stela Apartments. Thank you!
We loved our stay at the Brown Beach Hotel. The staff was exceptional, particularly Esther. She made us feel so welcome and was incredibly helpful to us and our traveling companions. We loved our room, the pool, and the breakfasts were delicious! I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Trogir.
This hotel had a traditional Croatian style which was lovely.
The room was very comfortable with everything we needed, especially the air conditioning which was much appreciated.
We ate in the restaurant in the evening. The menu was more than adequate and the food lovely.
Plenty of choice for breakfast.
This was without hesitation the best apartment I've ever been to in Croatia. Completely new, exceptionally well equipped, nice terrace, parking space right in front of the door, air conditioning in every room. Very clean and comfortable. Conveniently close to the city centre. Just amazing.
This has to be the cleanest and quaintest room we stayed in while in croatia. It’s right in the heart of old town so you are amongst it. The staff were so friendly and the connected restaurant did a great meal, again with lovely staff.
Staff was wonderful, especially Tamara at the front desk. Patio for breakfast was beautiful. The Old Town is beautiful--prettiest we experienced in our month of travel to Croatia, Montenegro, and Barcelona.
the location works if you want to be close to trogir. beach is actually pretty good. there is a beach bar right across the road and a Tommy supermarket right next to the hotel.
It was close to the airport and close to Trogir so the perfect location for our last night in Croatia before flying home. The accommodation was perfect for a family.
