The location was amazing. It was right in the old town near everything. Even better than the location was the host, Anna. She was so helpful. We were late getting to Dubrovnik due to heavy traffic and she waited 2 hours for our arrival. She provided us with great recommendations and the apartment was outstanding.

This house was a home to my family until a few years ago, my children grew up in it, and that’s why I am especially glad when I host families with children- I want to make them feel at home. I, myself, like to travel, and travel whenever I get the chance, and that’s one of the reasons all of my guests are welcome, because I understand the feeling of being both a guest and a host.

Property info

We have started renting in August, 2008. This house is one of the few buildings in the Old town to survive the terrible earthquake in 1667, meaning its construction dates back to 16th century, most probably. It has also never had any other owners; it has been in our family for centuries. Our house was last renovated in 2008, and that’s when it received its current appearance and purpose; it went from a family house to two apartments.
