Very modern, clean facilities. You have to go into the restaurant area to check in. Breakfast was great. It was included in our room rate, otherwise, it was 18 eu, I believe. We had a patio area overlooking the sea. Very comfortable. No complaints at all. Good WiFi. It is in Stars Baska, a quiet, lovely little town built into the hillside with very narrow roads. A bit of a drive from the town of Krk.

Ivana and Damir are excellent hosts. The little local beach is in 5-min walking distance, even our tired 4-year-old could come home on the steep stairs wiithout problems. The little terrace provides some shadows, which is great in a hot day.

Stara Baska is at the end of a narrow street, which most Tourists don’t go to. This means you have a chance to visit your own piece of paradise there with all the things you need (like a nice quiet beach and a couple of restaurants). Before you follow the road, don’t forget to stock up on food in Krk, there’s a small market which has fresh veggies and fruit, but only limited options in case you like to make your own dinner.

For me it is a perfect place, where you can still enjoy some of the old mediteranean village Feel. Some people might not like the lack of the village facilities and steep hills but it works for us. One of the most beautiful places on the island of KrK.
One of the most beautiful places on the island of KrK. The magnificent beauty of the mountains and the sea! Many really beautiful beaches (Oprna Bay, Zala), including almost wild ones. The town is on a hill. Most beaches need to be reached on foot, sometimes making whole walks. For those who do not like to walk a lot, there is a more accessible public beach at the pier. The beauty of nature is unreal. Those who love the Adriatic and beautiful landscapes should definitely visit the Stará Baska.AAnonymousBelarus - 8.0Scored 8.0
Small village with lot of small, clean, calm, pebbled...
Small village with lot of small, clean, calm, pebbled beaches. You can do some walking tours to the hills. There are some restaurant, but don't find shop. If you would like to visit nearby settlements you need a car. The streets are narrow and crowded in the village and next to larger beaches. There are some residential area where you can't enter by car. These area are very peaceful and quiet, however sometimes you have to left your car a little further. Recommended to book parking place advance.

Krk is a beutiful island and Stara Baska is a nice little place on it. There were a bit too many people, but the big problem is the cars, they seriously need to do something with it, the island has 10x the cars the roads can handle. And of course everyone is using their cars for everything when there is no other transportation method available. They need to think if they want constant queues of cars of maybe have buses and just simply put some parking lots where there is enough space and make people use the buses.eleventeHungary - 10Scored 10
Everything was great!
Everything was great! Apartment is super nice, perfect for a couple. Terrace has a cute hammock where you can enjoy sea views in peace and serenity. We were surprised with beautiful garden, very helpful hosts and local insight they gave us. We were sad to leave and will definitely come back.SanjaSlovenia
