A cozy holiday house in a quiet location next to the world famous lake Kournas with amazing views of the Cretan mountains, lake Kournas and the sea bay,between which there are beautiful olive groves.This turns the house into a corner of Greek Switzerland. The delightful beaches of Georgioupolis and Kavros 20-30 minute walk away.Near a lot of souvenir shops, cafes, taverns. House located on a beautiful plot of 160 sqm On a plot there are plants,and before him a small garden.Before entering the house veranda with chairs, table, barbecue. There is a storage room, solar panels for water heating. On the ground floor there is a corridor, shower room with toilet, two bedrooms with air conditioning and TV.Under the stairs there is a utility room with a washing machine.On the second floor there is an extensive kitchen-Studio,fully equipped with utensils and kitchen furniture. To the right of the kitchen there is a sitting area with a corner sofa, a coffee table and a TV. At the entrance to the second floor on the left is a shower room with a toilet. Directly from the second floor there is an access to a large terrace with a magnificent view of lake Kournas, mountains, grove and sea's bay.

The area of lake Kournas where our house is located, is one of the most famous and legendary areas of Crete. Already the presence of near lake Kournas listed in the UNESCO list, is a landmark in itself. This lake is covered with legends from the time of ancient Greece, which are willing to tell you the local guides and residents. At the same time, abundance of tourists and the presence of souvenir shops, cafes and taverns do not violate the its silence and relaxing tranquility . On the contrary, they complement each other, making the rest of tourists not only calm, but also civilized and comfortable. There is always an opportunity in the evening, after excursions or relaxing on the beach, dine in one of the nearby taverns, and listen to the wonderful Greek folk songs , or watch folk Cretan dances in a live performance.a bus stop with links to Kavros, Georgioupoli is 300 metres away. A special train stops near lake kurnas, which runs every 30 minutes from lake kurnas to Georgioupoli beach. But in any case, it is better to rent a car, traveling on it, much better and more fully experience the whole flavor of the beautiful, ancient island of Crete.
