Not the area I would recommend for those expecting the Santorini experience you see in pictures unless you just want to be close to the beach and then plan your transportation to get to areas with more to do and see. If you’re a family that can come more often, or don’t mind driving yourself around it’s a good value.

4 restaurants, a large beach, especially for families, as the sea is below 70 cm deep for more than a hundred meters.
You can take the bus to Fera, and from there all over the island.
The airport is on walking distance (2 km), but don't walk it when its hot.
It is a very small airport, so you can endure the rising planes.
The Italian restaurant at the corner serves also under the trees across the street. After 19.00 that's the best place to be, in the shadow, near the sea.

The hand delivered Breakfast with three options is something you dont see these days . Absolutely smashing array of local delights. Having spent 4 days in Santorini and savoring the sights of Oia and Fera , the beautioful attractions as shown in brochures , I recommend a more isolated area like Monolithos and especially the Mylithos suites, it was an oasis in a hilly and barren location with a lot of local residences - walking into lovely eateries by the beach road. It is for those travelers who prefer places "off the beaten path"

Going there over winter break (Christmas week) we did not anticipate any crowds, but there were several areas that were absolutely closed for the season. But there were plenty of places still open for food and shopping, and we enjoyed the lack of crowds as it helped us get fantastic photo shots of both sunrises and sunsets. A rental car is a must, and the of Oia was particularly enjoyable.

What I liked most was the layout of the hotel, which was right next to the beach. We rented a motorbike to drive the whole island. Monolithos is a quiet place where you have a beach, a shop, restaurants, fast food. The beach is long and also suitable for surfing, kiting.
The location was amazing in our opinion, it was away from the hustle and bustle of Santorini. Definitely somewhere to come kick back and relax. All of the staff went above and beyond. Their customer service was stellar and the facilities were so clean. The hotel was beautiful and the bed was super comfortable. When we first arrived we were greeted by the kindest woman. She gave us great recommendations and wrote them all down so we wouldn't forget! I would definitely recommend staying here.
Great hotel! It is located in a small rural location, has sea view, the beach in front, a pizzeria, a restaurant and a mini market next door. Very helpful and friendly staff. A nice pool and pool chairs/couches to relax on after a day of touring the island. You can sit in the sun by the pool until 7pm or so. Have a beer or milkshake to cool down and relax. There is no noise disturbance from the airport. Good location in the middle of the island. We recommend! 😀
The hotel was only open one month when we stayed there, everything new and clean! But what really makes this property shine is the love and dedication of the family that runs it. Their commitment is to their customers’ needs. They alway greet you with a smile and make sure that your Santorini stay is pleasant and exciting. Room service is excellent. Our breakfast was exceptional and plentiful every morning. We highly recommend my Lithos!
I must commend the hotel owners for their exceptional service throughout my stay. They were always polite, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. The hotel's breakfast offerings were truly impressive.
Thank you for the warm welcome, and for the quality of service throughout our stay, everything was excellent, from breakfast to the quality of the infrastructure.
very attentive staff , destination in the middle of the island , very close to the air port of u don’t like seeing planes take off from your balcony this might not be your place , I watched the sun come up , ate chips (fried potatoes) and Greek salad almost every day well done to the owners I would defo recommend this place I hired a car 3 days from the hotel also very happy .
my friend and i booked the hotel and it was just fantastic ,the staff were so kind and were interested in all your needs with a smile.the rooms were just perfected every thing we needed was in our room tv kettle fridge and it was cold fridge super,i can't complain about anything it was five stars in my view and we will be back thats for sure .
Perfect location, right on the very family friendly (shallow no rocks) beach. Monolithos is a small village thus its trivial to find the property and get to a few available restraints. Kitchen is fully equipped with gadgets to make a quick meal for the family.
A close by bus stop makes it easy to commute to other locations on the island.
Lina is very accommodating! She even accompanied us to the airport for free!! And during our stay she also ordered greek food for us since we don’t speak the language and it was our first time trying greek food, also the property is near Monolithos beach.
It was as absolutely amazing, all the staff were so friendly and very helpful when we were inquiring about anything from facilities in the hotel to the excursion offered in Santorini, 10/10 would recommend to anyone and will definitely be back.
Very beautiful place, good location, nice personal, clean and authentic rooms, good and welcome service
The beach is very close, the bus stop is nearby, the tourists companies are make transfer directly to the hotel
everything was wonderful. Staff was very helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean and cozy. The hotel restaurant served really tasty food and the prices were cheaper than in the city. overall everything was superb !
The hotel is very clean, the room I booked was spacious, very clean, with modern furniture. The pool was great, very clean. Plus, the hotel is very close to a beach. The staff was very welcoming and helpful.
Cosy hotel with helpful staff. I have celiac disease and at my request I got gluten-free products for breakfast. I am very grateful to the receptionist Tasos for paying special attention to my diet.
Egzim was a phenomenal host going the extra mile and providing for us whenever we needed. The Villa was absolutely beautiful and spotless. Two minute walk away from Monolithos family beach.
property was very clean and comfortable with a short walk’s distance to Monolithos beach. The staff were exceptional and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast every morning was great.
