Nikiana is a small town between Lefkas Town and the port of Nydri. It has many tavernas varying from small and simple to grander establishments. These are mostly located around the harbour although the Pantaze Tavern is probably the most iconic with its tables right on the beach under a protected canopy. Excellent food goes well with the ambiance. There are 3 small supermarkets, bakeries and a pharmacy. Although there is a bus service, it is advisable to hire a car for at least part of the stay, to be able to see the island and its beautiful scenery such as Porto Katsiki beach, Sivota and Vassiliki. RIB boats can be hired at the dock by the day for exploring the coastline and islands.

Really lovely village with nice little beaches, a stunning green mountainous backdrop, a great Gyros place, a perfect beach-side restaurant (Breath Of Zorba), and some really good, friendly shops and supermarkets. Perfect for a quiet family holiday, but don't expect a party!

The part of Nikiana where we stayed had the feeling of a the place where the locals cross the street to take a swim and relax. The sea is like one step from the road and it's crystal clear. We avoid crowded and luxurious places and the host we found here was just right. We ate once at Katerina and it was good, tasty and a very good service. We had a good café at the end of our street with fresh bread and pastry. There are no proper sidewalks except from the centre, that making short walks a bit adventurous.

Nikiana is a small resort along the main road between Nidri and Lefkada Town. There are a couple of beaches nearby, a handful of restaurants, a few cafes and supermarkets. Nikiana could be cleaner path broken and in places dirty. Very busy main road, need to be careful when walking around.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Nikiana. A small village on the way to Nidri. It has all facilities including the most wonderful bakery Artissima. If you desire bright lights and noise, this is not the place! The NV Beachclub is expensive but very comfy with excellent service.

George was an amazing host, very friendly and polite. He'd quickly respond to us if we had any questions and he made sure that we had a pleasant and comfortable stay during our whole week there. The beach was very close to our apartment (just across the street) and the distance from both Nidri and Lefkada Town was a 15 minute car drive. So if you're thinking to visit Leflada, Philippos Apartment is the perfect choice to stay.FFjonaAlbania

We booked a seaview room, beautiful view of the sea and mountain, and could see the sunrise from our bed! The service anywhere in the spa was exceptional. Good variety of restaurants/ food within the resort to choose from. The private beach was very beautiful, with lots of fish and the hotel offered kayaks and other sports. The villa itself is very beautiful with a rustic appearance, the large rooms all equipped with AC, the swimming pool warm and very clean, the yard quite large and with an exceptional lawn, and Vasilis and his parents are very welcoming and decent people. The villa is ideal for a group of friends or for families, being located in a very quiet and easily accessible area. 4 cars fit in the parking lot without any problems. Also, I appreciate the fact that there is a large car parking, so there is no problem with parking. The apartment itself is a perfect size for 2 people. The beds are very big and comfortable. Anda helped us with everything we asked for and we are grateful. Lefkada is an amazing place to visit.
