Just about everything! These apartments were spacious and comfortable and spotless. Unlike some places that feel as though they were designed and built as inexpensively as possible, these felt like they were designed with care and attention to detail. This as a place you could live in. Even the pictures on the walls were real family photos. This made our stay wonderfully relaxing . Dimitri our host was everything you could ask for in a host. He was always engaging and helpful. He accommodated all of our requests with aplomb. Breakfast on the terrace was delightful with plenty of choice and fresh regional food. He happily arranged travel fir us to visit Heraklion with a driver — Nikos — who lived up to the very high standards of Nana as a whole. if you need transport and he is available I whole heartedly recommend him.

The Nana Apartments are ideally located in a green valley amid the beautiful mountain surroundings around Zaros village in Crete, which is at an altitude of 1115 feet. The Zaros Nana Apartments are the perfect base to explore this lovely area. The charming apartments offer privacy and independence. Each includes a spacious seating area and a fully equipped kitchen. You can enjoy Cretan breakfast which consists of fresh organic produce including eggs, milk, pure olive oil, local herb tea, honey and freshly baked bread. Many stunning hiking and walking routes are offered. Visit the tranquil lake in Votomos just 0.6 mi outside Zaros, and go further, to the canyon and monastery. Enjoy access to the E4 European Walking Path. Take the time to relax with the views from the balcony of the room. Write home about it using the free Wi-Fi internet access. Move to the Nana restaurant for delicious food that will satisfy any appetite.
