My sister and I loved Perissa. We spent our first day on a 12-hour tour of the island and got a great overview of Santorini. We spent a day in Fira and decided that we made the right decision for us to stay in Perissa. It is more lowkey than some of the other villages you can stay at on Santorini, but it was perfect for us.

It is a typical town for blissful relaxation, where there isn't much to explore, apart from climbing the mountain to see the ancient city Fira ruins or admiring the Kamari and airport views. The main purpose of people coming here is to lounge on the beach.

Perissa served as a wonderful station for our trip to Santorini. I was far more interested in the history of the island and seeing everything Santorini had to offer. If you are looking for a beach vacation with anything you might need within walking distance, then Perissa would be perfect for your stay. However, Perssia also proved to be a great station to start and end each day.

Perissa is my favourite place to stay on Santorini.
Perissa is my favourite place to stay on Santorini. There are plenty of great restaurants, mini markets, a large supermarket, two 24-hour bakeries and a fantastic beach with sunbeds, many of the free if you buy a drink or food. Getting around is easy, most places are within walking distance of the beach and there is a small tourist train that runs along the beach from Perissa to Vlychada via Perivolos Beach. You can get on, or off wherever you like. The local buses to Fira are reasonably frequent and handy to see other parts of the island if you don't have a car or quad bike. For dinner, I'd recommend the Acropolis, Apollon and Noma Restaurants.
My wife and I rent on booking.com often. This was by far the best experience we have ever had. The location was the best and Perissa Beach is a beautiful little town at the beach side of the island to stay in and honestly the best restaurants on the island can be found near. Fira and Oia are very busy and crowded where Perissa feels more at home with plenty to do. Our host Dimitri was amazing and he made our stay. If you are considering booking Villa Dima do not hesitate. Anytime we come back to Santorini we will book here.
The hotel is in the town Perissa. Very close to a bus stop from where you can go to Fira and take any other bus you want. The bus run every 20 minutes. Room was exceptionally clean and staff was very helpful and treated us like family! They allowed us to check in quite late at night and check out very early in the morning. Really lovely people and it's definitely worth the stay :) Breakfast was also very tasty and there was variety every day.
The hotel is close to one of the biggest beaches of Santorini (Perissa and Perivolos - about 5-10 minutes on foot). Bus station is 5 minutes on foot and it's about 30 minutes to Fira.
lovely space; helpful friend manager. Initially we found it a bit of a walk into town, until we found the short cuts…and due to being away from the sea front there was very little traffic noise. We are uncertain about being good value for money…one gets what one pays for, but Santorini prices are ridiculously too high so we would be unlikely to return to the island. We had moved from another cheaper property in Perissa and we’re glad for the move. A special thanks to Sophia
Breakfast was varied and rich every day. You had a choice of savoury or sweet, and you were always served with orange juice and an optional tea/coffee/milk. The accommodation is in a perfect location in Perissa, close to the beach, restaurants, bus stop and there is a small shop 2 houses away. And I would highlight the "boss", Irene. She was extremely kind and helpful with everything. If we were to come to Santorini on holiday again I would definitely stay in Santa Barbara.
the position was very good, it was near Perissa beach as well as a 5 min walk to the bus station. The breakfast provided by the hotel was very good and the experience of eating it near the pool in the morning was great. The rooms were very clean and tidy. The owner was very kind and he was available for any question we had or any piece of information we needed. All in all, we would raccomand this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasent time on the island of Santorini.
The hospitality of these people is truly exceptional. We went to breakfast every morning and each time we were welcomed with lots of smiles and positivity. We stayed at a comfortable apartment with air condition (which you need in hot July/August), the room had also a kitchen with refrigerator, and all the cuisine equipment. The room was cleaned every other day, it is very clean and tidy. Santorini is beautiful, and Marousi suites were definitely the right choice!
The hosts were so lovely! This is probably the best place i’ve ever stayed!! It felt very authentic to where we were and was so clean and comfortable. I would go back in a heart beat! Also while staying in the main cities are cool here is smaller and more local! There are also beach’s that are five minutes walks where you can actually go in the water, other places are on cliffs so the water is not completely accessible. By far the best place to stay in Santorini
Manolis, the host was great and polite. He had stayed half an hour longer than we'd stated we'll come. Check in and check out went really smooth. Location of the Villa is great, within 2 minutes walking-distance from the main pedestrian street and 2 minutes from bakery (open 24/7h) and other restaurants. Prices for meals are acceptable. Perissa overall is prize-convenient and well-based town for staying in Santorini.
We liked Giorgos and Maria and Theoni. We liked the swimming pool and nice, relaxing atmosphere in the evening and coffee time in the morning. Perissa is excellent choice if you want proximity of the beautiful beach and good bakery:) We rented a car for two days ( 40€ per day ) and visited everything that should be seen in Santorini. We loved Vinsanto, the view from Ancient Thera and Monastery St. Illias.
It was in the best location a few steps from the beach! Many shops nearby and ATV rentals to explore the rest of Santorini. The property stays true to their pictures very clean beautiful and amazing staff to help with anything. They gave us heart cakes and Champaign upon arrival to really make us feel great during our honeymoon! I highly recommend this cute friendly place for anyone to stay!
One of my best stay in Greece: clean and silent room, good location (next to the supermarket and bakery, in front of the bus stop to Fira and max 10mins walk from Perissa beach), great swimming pool. The staff is very much welcoming and helped us in various circumstances. They also offered us the breakfast and gave us a present from Santorini, really appreciated.
Hotel location is very good, near to beach. Bus stop 5 mins walks from hotel.
Daily breakfast was exceptional, tasty, reasonable variety.
Owner was very kind and helpfull. provided very good information about santorini
I will recommend this hotel to everyone, before book any tour/car/taxi please connect with hotel they will do it very reasonable price
Amazing studios. Perfect location in Perissa. The rooms are very spacious and the property is very well maintained. Margarita, the lady who ran the hotel, was very helpful and sweet. She took good care of us and gave us many useful tips. If you are going to Santorini, this is the place in very nice to stay.
Excellent location for enjoying a quiet trip at Santorini and coming back well rested. There are several restaurants and bars around the beach, which is right across the street from the hotel. It's not close to Santorini's city center but getting there by bus was easy and pretty quick.
Everything was exceptional.
Margarita went above and beyond in every way possible.
Made our stay in Santorini far more enjoyable.
Assisted us with catamaran tour, laundry, and everything we needed. Also got us a taxi back to the airport when we left.
Sensational stay.
We loved it. Beautiful property, walking distance from Perissa Beach (although I remted car). Clean jacuzzi bath tub and swimming pool. Access to property is very easy (unlike lot of others in Santorini) with parking right next to it.
The hotel is perfect clean and quite. The location is near to the perissa beach,10 mins by foot. If you have a car, I highly recommend you to stay here in Santorini.
