From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I knew my stay at this hotel would be something special. The staff greeted me with warm smiles and an efficiency that spoke of their professionalism. The check-in process was smooth, and I was pleasantly surprised by a great breakfast in the morning. The hotel has a stunning view and it sits in the heart of the town, magical place. Set in a restored 18th-century mansion of local architecture, Melanthi Mansion offers rooms overlooking the Pagasetic Gulf and Volos Town. Units feature traditional furnishings and luxurious marble bathrooms. Melanthi’s rooms include hand-blown lamps and wooden ceilings carved by local craftsmen. All bathrooms feature handcrafted mirrors and brass details. Accommodations is equipped with hypoallergenic bedding. Most rooms include a fireplace. LCD cable TV and fridge are standard. A handmade breakfast with local delicacies is served daily in the breakfast room that features a stone fireplace. Guests can enjoy their drinks in the sun terrace café with views of the sea.
