Mytilini is a very beautiful place to visit.
The city itself has very old roots and this in itself makes it quite exciting.
There are quite different options for food and for strolling.
People can enjoy visiting the cobbled street market of Ermou or just opt for strolling around in the harbour and pier (a very nice choice!).
My wife and I have been living just 10 minutes out of the city for the last 2 years and we are still enjoying going for coffee, food, shopping or many times just for our walk.

The new Archeological Museum was great.
The new Archeological Museum was great. The walk along the shore around the castle accessible and a good way to see what the locals were up to. Restaurants were traditional and good. The Municipal Art Gallery is worth a stop.

Stayed at The Blue Sea Hotel in a suite room.
Stayed at The Blue Sea Hotel in a suite room. The view from the balcony was breath taking, beds comfy, fridge cold. All great....only problem was getting my husband off the balcony. Stella on reception was so helpful. Ate at Kafenion O Ermis....gorgeous, throughly recommended. Only in Mytilene for one night ( make sure you visit the castle and Statue of Liberty) and it was enough.

The pitoresque town of Petra with a beautiful beach (but take care, the beach is rocky, you should have bathing shoes); wonderful landscape views with pine forests and olive groves; medieval monasteries in Metochi and Christos; Mytilini with its charming narrow streets and delicious food (the fried squid was the best meal I had in Greece).

Mytilini town is a great place to start your holiday on...
Mytilini town is a great place to start your holiday on Lesvos. Visit the castle which is amazing, walk through the tiny streets of the centre of town and see a variety of architecture. Take a walk around the castle to the west and take a swim in the nearby beach complete with all the facilities you need. view the manor houses to the south and north of the city. Enjoy a coffee or snack around the harbour at one of the many bars or cafes. A couple of days is more than enough and then hire a car and visit the many other magic places around Lesvos. Roads are very good, visit Petra, - with the best beaches in Lesvos, Molivos, Mantamados, Sigri, Eresos, Plomari, Gera and the many amazing monasteries, and don't miss the petrified forest. You'll need another 3-4 days
Our stay was great, although short. These studio apartmetments offers a lot more than a hotelroom - small kitchen, balcony and separate bed- and living room. Obviously the feeeling is less "luxurious" than a hotel, but we didnt need that. Towels and linens were clean and new. Maria in the reception was extremely helpful and she knows the island and it's possibilities very well. She has a passion for the city's old houses, and if you are interested, she will happily share her knowledge with you.
The Suite room had a panoramic view of the harbour and town. This was particularly spectacular at night with reflections of the lights and buildings. Very good breakfast with a good selection of warm and cold items. Good sound proofing between rooms. Fast taxi ordering to door by desk. Usually less than 3mins. Nice cheap cafe round corner doing dinner for 2 at 20euro including a beer.
Wonderful boutique hotel, very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean and located close to the harbour and right next to nice restaurants and cafes (but still very quite). There is also a parking lot for hotel guests. The staff was exceptionally nice - Greek hospitality at its best!
Very nice property. Excellent set up and facilities. The breakfast was extensive and tasty. Overall a relaxing and comfortable hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Location was outside of the main town but there were cafes and a mini market in close walking distance. Would return.
The hotel was needed on the island of Lesvos
It’s located perfectly with a fantastic view and very peaceful. Not far from the centre of Mytilini and the airport and very close to great beaches Charamida and Agios Ermogenis.
Would definitely stay there again.
The property was ok. It's an old hotel, so the rooms are spacey, however it needs to be renovated. My only problem was that the water didnt go through the drain easily, which is quite annoying. Other than this, the location was great, rooms were cleaned and etc
Location is super convenient for exploring the town and also for ferry transportation (literally right next to the port). Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, and mine had a balcony with an amazing view of the harbor. Would definitely recommend!
The beds and bedsheets are clean and the room is very comfortable. The location is very good and very close to the beach. We loved the hotel and definetly visit next year. The reception was very kind and friendly. Never had a problem during the stay.
Probably the best hotel in Mytilini! Clean modern rooms, flawless marble bathroom with rain shower, unbeatable sea/harbor view, excellent Greek breakfast! Special praise to the afternoon shift at the reception and the staff at the breakfast!
We booked our stay at the last minute because I made a mistake with booking another hotel. The rooms were very large and comfortable. Everything was very clean, and the breakfast was great. Definitely will be coming back to this place.
A very comfortable, spacious, and clean hotel in the middle of the town. Big room with lots of space, a beautiful street view and clean kitchen & bathroom. Check-in was easy, two ladies I've met were very kind. Thank you very much.
Rooms with sea view, breakfast particularly pastries and mastress were excellent . Lifeguard was very kind and good at her job. Pools for kids was good. The athmoshepe was relaxing. We left the hotel with content feelings.
A pleasant hotel, with its own small enclosed area, with a nice swimming pool (with good depth). The room is large and spacious, but the furniture and plumbing require repair or attention. Great breakfast.
Hotel exceeded all the area's stuff where amazing food was proper home cooked , and the room was so comfortable especially the bed didn't want to leave.
