The hosts were absolutely lovely! They were very helpful in providing recommendations for the area and checked in to see how my stay was. The front bedroom has a stunning view out to the sea and brings in a nice breeze during the heat wave. I felt comfortable as a solo traveller and the host was kind to give me a heads up about people coming and going as I was there for a longer period.

Since 1975 we provide hospitality in one of the most beautiful and oldest houses of Kavala. We are proud of the fact that our customers return again and again. "Let's Go Greece" travel guide for more than ten years refers as the best place to stay in Kavala. In a preserved 3-floor building 350 years old, located in the old distict of Panagia (Virgin Mary) under the shandow of the Byzantine castle. If you like pebbles and rocks there are beaches of this kind at 250 meters distance. Taverns, cafes, bars, mini markets surround the beautiful area of Panagia Kavala. Visit us at kavalarooms dot gr .
We must point out that: *** It is a 350 year old house that has three rooms available on the first floor, so the atmosphere is family-friendly. *** We are at the historical center of Kavala therefore there is NO parking but we can quide you to park. *** The floors are wooden, resulting in some places to rub. *** The walls are made of wood and tatami (a combination of reed-thorn-branches and plaster) and therefore do not have modern sound insulation. *** There are two SHARED bathrooms serving these three rooms. *** If you turn the room refrigerator's knob at maximum it will sound louder. *** There is NO air conditioning in the rooms but a ceiling fan over the beds. Air conditioning exists ONLY in lounge-hall. *** The house is traditional and is located in the old town of "Panagia", therefore there is no private parking. Visit us at kavalarooms dot gr
