We were lot of greek place, island. There is the most beautiful small island. There are the best beaches, lighting blue sea, cristal clear water, waterworld, fishes, white sand beaches. One word: amazing. We had been two times, and I think we will go back next year.

The place is so incredible and I am empty for words: a real hidden gem off the beater track. The most beautiful beach I’ve seen in my life ever was Paralia Simos: so picturesque and I fell in love with it’s turquoise waters, almost like a color of Powerade. No crowds of tourists and rather Greeks coking there. As a result prices are more reasonable than in other more touristy places. I rented a bike on battery and every single point on the island became accessible within 15 minutes. Favorite place was definitely Simos beach in the morning, it's just a paradise. Great choice of tavernas by the port, very lively in the evenings. You need a car to explore the island, or a bike if you can tolerate the heat in the high season. Elafonisos is absolutely worth visitig!leetoonasticNorway - 10Scored 10
The beaches are crystal clear
The beaches are crystal clear You can hire bicycles to get around to other beaches as there are no taxis (not sure about a bus, didn’t see one) The camping ground is amazing, amenities super clean you can even rent rooms not just tents and not expensive at all. I traveled with my friend to the island of Elafonisos for pleasure. Elafonisos is located at the Southeastern tip of the Peloponnese, close to Kythira. We stayed for 4 days at the "Elafonisos Mare Hotel" and had a wonderful experience. The crystallized sea and golden sand are ideal for a quick excursion! There are many taverns with amazing seafood and many vegetarian options if you like. Small island but full of taste, wonderful beach views, peaceful and absolutely relaxing!

Really a charming lovely place.
Really a charming lovely place. Very quiet even in high season. One can really relax and enjoy nature. The beaches are insane, and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from in front of the sea (although everything would seem expensive compared to mainland Greece).

The room was large, comfortable, equipped with a balcony, AC, and a fan, clean, and stocked with tea, coffee, and biscuits. The balcony was perfect for meals, with a view of both the sea and the countryside, shed from the sun and relatively fresh. The structure is well located on the island, within walking distance from the city center (a big plus as we avoided road closures in the evening), and a mini market open until late, and strategically placed to reach the best beaches by car.Guybrush90Italy

Having a parking space was very important since we visited Elafonisos by car. The location was good, and since the island is small, everything was within walking distance except for Simos Beach, which is about a 7-8 minute drive away. We stayed here for three nights, and there was no daily cleaning or towel change. I wonder if that is the case for more extended stays.

The apartment is very comfortable, has everything one may need on holiday and more. The host Irene could not do enough to make our stay most comfortable, she was super helpful and very pleasant to deal with. If I come back to Elafonisos I would not hesitate to book this superb apartment again. Thank you Irene!

The rooms were very clean and always taken care of by the time we got back to the hotel. Followed all COVID safety guidelines. The views are also beautiful! We had a great view from our balcony and from the top floor of the hotel that serves as a bar. Would definitely recommend for a beautiful comfortable stay in Elafonisos.BlancaCanada
