The staff and owners are amazing people! The pool is beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. We loved our time here.

It looked way better than we even expected, it was a 10 min walk from the port and we were immediately welcomed by Alexandros and his family. We arrived at 11:30 and they had our rooms ready at 12 for us even though check in was at 3. They gave us a map of the island and showed us places we should visit and explained how the buses work. You could even walk from the city to the hotel but the bus was worth it. We loved the pool and the room but Alexandros and his family is what made our stay, they genuinely cared for us and wanted us to have a fun trip but to be safe! I definitely want to come back here.

My friend and I had a great stay here and overall the facilities were great. It is near Chora Main street, about a 20 min walk but only 5 mins on the bus which is right outside the complex. Nearest beach is also a 10 min walk. The main town was very busy while we stayed here but this hotel was really peaceful and quiet. Spacious hotel room, Air con, bar and a pool with a gorgeous pool. would deffo recommend staying here, especially for people who don’t want to stay somewhere too noisy. Staff were incredibly accommodating aswell.

It is a family run hotel. Alexander "the great!" and his wife couldn't have been more welcoming. The hotel is in a good location, (bus stop right near hotel), with a beautiful view. We had the best Greek omelets we've ever had, every morning. Pool is very clean and refreshing! We highly recommend the Golden Sun if you go to Ios!

Perfect location , we could go to town , to the port and even to the beach Mylopotas on foot Our hosts were really nice and attentive. We appreciate to relax near the pool after walking all day . Rooms are clean with a little balcony . The bus stop is just in front of the hotel .
