Fotini's apartment is located at Kypseli area, very close to the center of Athens. The area is safe providing direct access by both means of transport (buses and trolleybuses), but also by foot in places of historical and cultural interest as well as at restaurants, bars, coffee shops and commercial shops. The area of Fokionos Negri is just 800 meters from Fotini's Apartment. There are coffe shops that besides coffee serve also alcohol drinks and deserts and snacks. In 1937 established the municipal market of Kypseli located on Fokionos Negri Street, designed by architect Alexandros Metaxas. Kypseli is a well known shopping area. The Pedion Areos Park, is 2 kilometers distance from Fotini’s apartment. It is one of the largest public parks in Athens.The park was designed in 1934 and its purpose was to honour the heroes of the Greek Revolution of 1821, 21 of whom are depicted in marble busts standing in the park. The park was renovated in 2010. Most of the changes affect the infrastructure, like the endless underground network of water supply, drainage, rainwater collection and electricity supply. At the same time, the area’s lighting was enhanced and upgraded.

Very close to the Pedion Areos Park is the famous Greek Archaeological Museum.
