We loved the location, really central for travelling the area, the pool was lovely, really comfortable bed, everything you need was in the villa, the views of the sunset are stunning, walking distance to a lovely taverna, hosts were really friendly, thank you for the foodie gifts when we arrived, they have thought of everything.

Two stone villas, 150 square meters each, are built at the foot of the Prophet Elijah. Located 400 meters from the village of Platanos, Kissamos and 45 km from the city of Chania (52 km from the airport of Chania). The Falasarna Villas overlook the Gulf of Falasarna (4 Km away from the beach) and the unique sunset of western Crete. Each villa is designed in three levels and has three bedrooms. It also features a large central space (kitchen and living room). Each bedroom has its own bathroom and there is a communal WC. Each villa also has a separate entrance and a private swimming pool of 50 square meters. The premises have been made with respect to the environment and traditional architecture and have the necessary equipment (central heating, central air conditioning, TV, PC, internet and home equipment). We recently added a new access point to the wi-fi for an easier and faster web browsing. The location is quiet but not isolated, ideal for your family or friends.The Falasarna Villas are first class accommodations in accordance with the decision of the Greek National Tourism Organization.
The owner of Falasarna Villas is the archaeologist Maria Mottaki. She is married with Vassilis Mitropoulos, who is responsible bookings. They have two children.Stella and Elias.
The Falasarna Villas overlook the Gulf of Falasarna (4 Km away from the beach) and the unique sunset of western Crete. The famous lagoon of Balos is located approximately 10miles north of Falasarna Villas and 17km northwest of Kissamos, formed between the Cape Gramvousa and the small Cape Tigani and below the range of Platiskinos. Balos is surely the mostly photographed beach in Crete, a very favorite subject of all tourist guides for Greece Elafonisi is located 39km south of Falasarna Villas, in the southwesternmost point of Crete. Elafonisi is an oblong, which often "breaks" in two parts by water giving the impression of being a separate island. Elafonisi is a Natura 2000 protected area. The island is full of dunes with sand lilies and jupiners (like-cedars trees). The endangered turtles careta careta and several rare animals nest on the island and it is strictly forbidden to remove any plants, animals and sand from the area.
