Esperides is a charming house, ca 91 m2, on a plot covered with olive and orange trees. It's the perfect place for people who love a quiet place in nature, which is near the seaside and the city of Athens. Esperides, is a family-friendly home, which is a newly renovated. The interior design offers very good functionality and it is very good equipped. The house offers very good isolation from the outside temperature and it is fully air-conditioned. The exterior design offers a beautiful garden. The location of Esperides offers easy access to the nearest beach by bicycle, cycling on a flat area. (about 15 min for 2.2Km). At Esperides you can find a lot of bicycles, for free. Very important is the easy access to the public bus service. The bus stop is about 400 m away from Esperides. Daily, there is a bus to Athens city center and back, every hour, from 6.00 am to 10.00 pm. If you have more time and a car, is important to visit the Temple of Poseidon in Sounion (Attica region), the ancient area of Delphi, the Rocks of Meteora or you can the ferry from Rafina Port to Andros Island and the ferry from Agia Marina Port to south Evia.
My name is Dimosthenis. I possess a University degree in Economics and I speak German and English language. I live and work in Athens together with my wife Jolanta and our four children. Jolanta was born in Poland and has polish as a native language. On weekends and during the holidays we live in Esperides. We love to grow vegetables and small animals. My wife and I are available during the renting period. We visit the house every two or three days, to clean the pool and to take care of the garden. Depends on the availability, we offer homemade cooked food, self-produced vegetables, a bottle of homemade wine, olive oil from our trees or eggs from our chicken. We are prompted to give the necessary information and we suggest activities or excursions. Distances: Airport 26km NeaMakri City: 4 km Athens City Center: 37km Rafina Port: 15km Agia Marina Port: 14km Grocery Store: 400m Beach, Cafe, Restaurant: 2,5 km Bus stop: 400m Smoking allowed in the outside area of the house. Events/parties are not allowed. The person, who is responsible for the guests should be at least 25 years old and provide a copy of his/her Identity Card.
The region, where the house situated, is flat with a large area of agricultural land between the sea and the mountain of Penteli. Marathon is a place in which took place the ancient battle between the Greeks and the Persians. Here, you can visit the Museum, the Tomb and the ruins of the ancient town of Rhamnus. The Marathon coast, located about 2,5 km far from the house. The beach is sandy and the sea deepens smoothly, making the place ideal and safe for children. The seawater is clean and enjoyable, especially in the morning. Swimming at the beach is free of charge. Nevertheless, you can find beach bars, which offer sun lounges and umbrellas, pricing the refreshments or beverages you order. On the east side of the coast, about 10 km far from the house, located the beach named Schinias. This beautiful beach offers a combination of sea and pine forests. There is a great offer for water sports too. On the south side of the coast located the beach of Nea Makri. This beach is very beautiful conformed to the palm tree garden. Here, you can find many cafés, restaurants, taverns and music bars.
