The best thing about the apartment is its location. Iktinou Square is a vibrant area surrounded by shops, cafés, restaurants, monuments and city landmarks. Located 2 minutes away from the city's sea-front and most of its major points of interest, such as The White Tower, Aristotelous Sq, the Galerius Arch and right next to St. Sophia's Church. The area is very safe and great for taking long walks and discovering the city. Here you can feel Thessaloniki's pulse. Enjoy your stay!!! Our apartment is on the third floor of Thessaloniki's most significant Landmark Buildings. When my parents bought it and decided to renovate it to make it our home, I couldn't imagine how much I would end up loving it. They put a lot of personal work and love in order to maintain the identity of the house. As both of my parents are artists this house has experienced long talks with friends by the fireplace, dinner parties that lasted days and beautiful people coming and going. It is filled with happiness, memories and love, I really hope you'll add yours too. You won't need to carry a full suitcase when you visit us, only carry your love for Greece and our beautiful city of Thessaloniki.
My name is Katerina and I am a Set and Costume Designer for Film and Theatre. Due to my job I get to travel a lot and meet people from all over the world. I love art, film, sci-fi books and David Bowie but most of all my little daughter. This is my parental house where I will be hosting you with help from my friend Stella. Together we will be very happy to help you enjoy your stay in our beautiful city. We meet and greet our guests. We take them on a short orientation tour and offer them any assistance they require. We can make arrangements for pickups any place and time provided that it will be asked 24h before your arrival. You can contact with us any time. Our top priority is to respond instantly to all the guests and provide with all the information they might need. We will be happy to help you and be flexible with time of check-in and check- out (especially when the apartment is free the prior/following day of your stay. We may easily arrange extra cleaning services, spa services, tour guides and help you with any information needed to make your stay a valuable experience! For reservations more than a week, cleaning services will be provided free of charge weekly.
The apartment is so strategically in the center of the city that you can explore everything by foot. Just 2 minutes away from the city's sea-front and 5-10 minutes to most of Thessaloniki's major points of interest like The Archaeological Museum, the emblematic White Tower, the Byzantine Museum, the Church of Agia Sofia, the Macedonian Centre of Contemporary Art, the Helexpo Convention Centre and the famous Aristotelous Square. The famous Athonos sq., Kapani and Modiano flea markets are located straight around the area providing visitors with fresh fruits, vegetables and other local products like cheese, pies, nuts and other. Thessaloniki is famous for its vibrant day-and-night-life. The area has many taverns and cafes open until late. You can visit the area of Bit Bazar, Valaoritou street, Proxenou Koromila and Tsimiski for shopping etc. During the summer you can enjoy the Aegean sea by visiting the great beaches near Thessaloniki which are awarded the Blue Flag for their clean waters. We will provide information on day trips and detailed map to all points of interest.
