Karteros is a lovely small village right by a number of beautiful beaches, it has all the essential facilities you could need and is within a short bus ride away from the city of Heraklion. However, though small, it is a very busy place (when we went, last 2 weeks of June) that is very popular with the locals, especially teenagers accessing the beach facilities and so the bus to Heraklion can get extremely full between 5pm and 7pm.JayneUnited Kingdom

The rooms are amazing , big, nicely decorated, sparkling clean and has everything that you need 😊 Mrs Anna is a great host and helps you with anything you need for your stay in Crete ! If you are a horse lover, you can even book your ride to the beach, karteros dump or even take a class with Mrs. Marianna that she is the best coach!
