If you want a special experience go to Skopolos. We arrived by ferry from Skiathos which is only 1 hour and 14 euros each. Visually the town is special from the sea and is very friendly and full of nice bars and restauraunts but is also very chilled. Prices are sensible.

Very wide choice of restaurants and bars, but not all open when we visted at end of September when everything was begining to shut down. There is no real beach in the town so transport is requred, local buses are good but services reduce in September. Lots of steep slopes and steps so not ideal for less mobile. The town has very much the feel of a place that has been taken over by tourism. Plenty of trips to visit parts of the island and other islands.

Is a wonderful island with many beaches in all of them I found all the necessary umbrella sunbeds at the right price.
The best choise is to book an accommodation in skopelos town and during the day move around the island.

Lovely island with a lovely port with many shops and restaurants. Extremely safe and it has a lovely vibe about it. We took a Mamma Mia tour which was inexpensive and a great way to see some of the main sites around the island and visit some lively beaches. It is very mountainous and the roads are not for those afraid of heights. Skopelos town is definitely the best place to stay

Picture-perfect Greek town, totally unspoilt, with some amazing bars and restaurants. Great for all ages and tastes, and the whole island is easy to get around on the local bus. Some stunning beaches to visit, a definite must-visit Island.
Uncle Johns Guesthouse was the best value for money hotel on the whole islands we visited (Skopelos and Skiathos), so full marks.
Staff and owner were extremely friendly.
The room and bathroom were spotless clean.
The design of the relatively small room was extremely well done in terms of use of space, light and decoration.
Nice common sitting area in the courtyard.
Air conditioning worked flawlessly, high quality insect screen to balcony.
Sea view :-)
There was a small gift as a welcome.
Clear recommendation!
The hotel is very good and good is also the position, is necessary to rend a scooter or a car to visit all the beaches and the staff at the reception during the check in found us a scooter to rent.
The room was very comfortable biggest respect my expectations with a little balcony on the first floor side sea view, and very clean
The breakfast was various and is a buffet breakfast.
At the end of our stay they offered us an other room for the late check-out for free.
All was very good
The house is located in the lower level of Skopelos town which provides a very easy access. It is also very close to the supermarket as well as the downtown area. At the same time, it is a very quiet neighborhood. The garden is wonderful. The owner is super nice and pleasant to deal with. Mama Soula's fig jam is amazing!! The house/room was very clean and fully functional. Me and my girls would love to come back again!!
We had a little view of the port of Skopelos Town and it was beautiful :) the building itself was lovely. Lots of charm and had a "homey" feel which was very nice. Location was great! Very close to shopping and restaurants as well as everything that Skopelos town has to offer. We were able to walk from the port where we arrived on a ferry easily with our luggage. The owner was very kind and helpful. We enjoyed out time.
Location is nice as its about a 15 min walk into the center of Skopelos town. The staff is very friendly and helpful! A few things were missing from the rooms such as cutlery and hangers however the staff was more than happy to bring anything we needed to us. The rooms were refreshed every two days, they changed the sheets and brought fresh towels which was nice. Family run so keep in mind this a hard working family!
We chose Skopelos Summer Homes last year for our summer vacations and since we had a wonderful time back then, we returned this year. The hotel is very conveniently located, too close to the port and the center.
The room was spacious, very clean and very quiet. The staff was very polite and eager to address any request. It is highly recommended for relaxing holidays to the greenest Greek island
Friendly family run hotel, lovely room with balcony, gorgeous pool with sun beds, fairly basic breakfast included, amazing value for money. We really felt at home. Short walk from the ferry and into town with lots of bars and restaurants. We hired a quad bike to visit lots of beautiful local beaches and the Mamma Mia locations. We had an amazing time on Skopelos and can’t wait to return.
The house is incredible! It is decorated with exceptional taste and it is a little oasis close to Stafylos beach. The private patio is beautiful, quiet, and with great view! We also wanted to be close to Skopelos town and by car it was just a few minutes away. Ourania is also extremely kind and helpful. We’re definitely going back to Villa John’s!
Thea Home Hotel was stunning. Great location, being only a short walk to Skopelos town. The view was beautiful and the staff were so friendly and were helpful with any questions. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone and would definitely go back!
Maria runs a lovely hotel with a fabulous view over Skopelos Town. Not only that, there is a swimming pool, a rare commodity on the island and a lovely place to relax in the quiet.
The best part of the whole stay was Maria herself. A fabulous host who really took care of us.
The room was clean, incredible views of Skopelos town center, and the overall aesthetics of the room, the host was very kind and allowed me to check-in early due to weather (please always ask before!), the walk to town is very relaxing and beautiful
If you're looking for a budget-friendly stay without compromising on comfort and aesthetics, this hotel is the perfect choice. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, especially considering the excellent room with that stunning sea view.
Pools were a refreshing oasis, and the complimentary Wi-Fi kept me connected seamlessly. Having free parking was a bonus. But what truly stood out was the spotless room. It was so clean and cozy, a testament to the hotel's attention to detail.
Perfect for everyone who wanna stay in a great hotel with 24-hour reception, a refreshing pool area and comfortable air-conditioned rooms equipped with satellite TV, it offers a relaxing and convenient retreat.
Very nice room just near the port. Excellent location to explore Skopelos town. The Owner was very helpful and the surprise in the morning was delicious 🤤
