Great view of the sea and the islands, also no wind
It’s a beautiful island with fantastic beaches. Best time to visit would be September or June if you want a quieter holiday. The coast is flat so you can cycle quite a bit. There are regular boats to the beaches - an all day ticket costed 2.50€.

Hop on hop off to kato koufonisia and other beaches of the islands for 10 euro per day.
Friendly people all around. Fresh fish of top quality and selection
We rented a scooter that has proven to be a necessity.
There are also electrical assisted bikes.
Food prices at taverns in general are acceptable.
We could gladly have stayed more than 3 days.

I thought it would be quieter but it appears that Koufonisia has become more popular. We had to go to Kato Koufonisia almost everyday of our stay just to have a quiet and relaxing beach time. The hike was easy, a bit more tiring from the heat but it's worth it.

Lovely island for people who like walking, beaches and a relaxed pace of life without planning much. The island gets busy in mid-July to end of August so I wouldn't choose to go then. I think 3-5 days are best, many people also visit on a day trip.

Very small island. You can walk it.
Very small island. You can walk it. Furthest beach is 1 hour and a half scenic walk along the coast passing many other beaches. The port is the only town on the island. It has a nice ‘chora’ with surprisingly many restaurants and shops. Town is very clean with beautifully paved roads. Very much an upmarket feel to it, but no upmarket attitude, which is a plus. Quiet place. Not for party animals.
The Island is just fabulous. The water is amazing and the place is very quite and peaceful.
The receptionist was wonderful and very helpful. She was the sweetest and was always trying her best to make us comfortable during our stay. She gave us also amazing tipps and all were exactly as she described.
I loved staying in the hotel and specially on this island. I would definitely go back there again and i only can recommend this amazing island and hotel.
This property is delightful. The owners are on site and you can tell. Excellence is in the details and they deliver. Views are fabulous, location prime. Breakfast is high quality. Rooms are very clean and the staff are tremendous. Friendly, fun and knowledgeable. This is the best hotel on our stay to date. Koufanisia is a hidden gem. Do not hesitate to book this hotel.
Teal Blue is probably the best place we stayed here in Greece.
From the decoration, to the view, the complementary wine, coffee and water to the excellent welcoming from Christos .
Very well located, we walked everywhere.
This is the kind of place you want to come early from the beach to enjoy.
Next time in Koufonisia definitly in this place
Keros Art Hotel is an opulent well maintained property with beautiful grounds dripping with flowers. The staff is gracious and accommodating. The rooms are large and well appointed. Cleanliness is apparent -The rooms and property are spotless! I have only super positive things to say- I look forward to my next visit❤️
The apartment was very well designed, equipped and located. It was super clean and with amenities. The breakfast were also very good and with great quality products. The location makes it easy to walk to the village as well as the beaches and the port. We had an amazing stay and would come back without a doubt.
The position if the hotel is close to a beach, close to the city centre and the port. Since the island is very small being close to the centre with restaurant and promenade is a good option. When our ferry was cancelled, the hotel was available to rent us the same room for an additional night.
This is a great property, and Moska and her sister are the perfect hosts. The property is centrally located between the Chora and the best beaches, and has good sea views, although it is not sea front. We had a great stay and will definitely try to stay here again the next time on Koufonisi.
The location was excellent, inside the center of Koufonisia. We discovered though that the location doesn't matter that much because Koufonisia is an extremely small island. The room had a nice balcony. The beds were ok. Mrs Eirini (the host's mother) was very friendly.
Petros Rooms were an awesome home base for my week In Koufonissi. They’re in a great location, they’re super clean and nice, Petros is so friendly and helpful - he even fixed my bike lock which had gotten sand in it! I’ll definitely be back!
Excellent clean facilities, very friendly stuff and the host Tasos was really nice! The location is fantastic as well, very close pretty much to both 'Chora' (city center) and the beaches. Definitely recommended, would stay again!
A perfect hotel! Fantastic location, great amenities, delicious breakfast, beautiful rooms with a gorgeous view! The owner was kind, helpful, and a great resource for everything to do on the island. We will definitely be back :)
Fantastic hotel, lovely friendly owners and staff. Very welcoming, nothing too much trouble. Great breakfast, lovely pool. Superb position in the village and pick up / drop off st the port if you needed. Hope to go back soon
The hotel is a very tasteful, modern design decorated to a high standard; from the rooms to the pool/bar area. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and are always willing to help.
Great location and lovely family looking after us. Not in the village proper, but the island is so small it doesn't matter! We'll definitely stay here next time we visit Koufonisia.
Amazing propery! Our room had a great great view. Hotel staff was super nice and helpful! Location was also remarkable, as was the breakfast! The place is amazing!!!
The family at Melissa was accommodating to our schedule and very friendly.
The location was perfect between two beaches and a short walk to the port and town.
