The location is very easy to commute to using the city bus service. The check-in and check-out process was super easy and Di was a very helpful and accommodating host. The facilities are as advertised on the site and being able to use the kitchen for basic cooking was a plus. The home is well equipped and good to stay for a considerable period as well. We were satisfied with our stay!

The flat is located in one of the highly desirable neighbourhoods. If you want to stay away from the street noise but still be within the city center, it is a sensible choice. Short walk to town centre and bus stop at door step. 30minutes' walk to town centre, 40 to Royal Mile/old town. It is on second floor in a traditional Edinburgh tenement building with decorative high ceilings. Please be aware there is no lift in the building. No other guests to share in this flat! A well maintained apartment. Guest enjoy the exclusive use of a double bedroom and a dining room with a two seater inside. Host stays in the front part of the flat, guests stay at the back (quiet part ) of the flat. Guests can come and go freely.Price advertised is NOT breakfast inclusive but with facilities to prepare your own.
Having worked in tourism industry for the past decade in NZ, made Edinburgh home in recent years. I strive to offer friendly accommodation in a premium location at a competitive price. Please note sometimes I am not living in the flat. But can be reachable within 30 minutes.
The Royal Botanic garden and Inverleith garden within 5 minutes' walk. Vibrant Stockbridge nearby. Dining out: Earthy - voted as one of the best cafes in Edinburgh Blue Bear Cafe - family run, quirky Orchard Bar & Restaurant - they do a great Sunday roast Gateway Restaurant - within Royal Botanic Garden - palatial for afternoon tea Porto & Fi - family run cafe/deli/bistro with views overlooking The Firth of ForthBus (No 8,23,27) at door step, they can take you almost any part of Edinburgh. Free parkings on Ferry Road in front of Goldenacre Play Field, around two minutes' walk to the apartment. A free parking space can't be guaranteed by host, it serves at first come first taken basis, also it is at guests' own responsibility. Limited parking spaces also available in front of the flat at from Monday to Friday 730am to 530pm fees applicable.
