Quite peaceful location. Wildlife everywhere. Comfortable clean cottage. Lovely fire to cosy up to for chats. Great no TV that takes away a good chat. Beds comfortable for a good night's sleap. Great area for fishing. Easy travel to local shops. Torches provided for walks in the dark. Plenty of hot water for a relaxing bath underfloor heating a great bonus. Alarmed cottage for security. Outside picnic table. Comfortable sofa and armchairs. Bed linen like new. Everything spotless including all cutlery pots and pans. Outside lighting. Warm cosy cottage fully recommended. Host on arrival until we left outstanding and helpful.

The Triumphal Arch Lodge at Colebrooke is located in the heart of Co Fermanagh. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty and is only a short distance from the tranquility of beautiful Lough Erne. Strictly 1 pet permitted - Guests MUST inform host at time of booking if a pet will be staying.

Neighbourhood information

This lodge is one of the gateways to Colebrooke Park, one of Northern Ireland's most important and historic stately homes which was recently renovated and refurbished by the present Viscount and Viscountess Brookeborough. Guests to the Lodge can enjoy a host of outdoor activities organised by arrangement through the Colebrooke Estate such as fishing on the Colebrooke River, walking trails and bird watching on this widespread estate. Shooting and stalking can also be organised by prior arrangement with the estate. There is abundant wildlife including red squirrels, kingfishers, otters, pine martens and woodpeckers and even a deer hide for watching deer close up. Bike hire is available on site and there are trails throughout the estate. There are private woodland picnic areas and even hampers of local produce available to order in advance. For the ultimate in relaxation, the Colebrooke award winning spa is situated on the estate. Among the many attractions in this area are Crom Castle and Gardens, Enniskillen Castle which dates back to the 1700s, Castle Coole, Florencecourt, Marble Arch Caves, Castle Archdale Islands.
