Good, quiet location with views out to sea, although not quite as spectacular as hoped for. Bed and room comfortable and clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Walks along the coast directly from the hotel are good, including access to Anthony Gormley's famous beach sculptures. Liverpool city centre is easily accessible via nearby bus and train routes that are within short walking distances from the hotel.

The hosts Dave and his wife were extremely helpful and went the extra mile to help us out with a problem that we uncounted. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and is situated in a lovely peaceful location. The staff were also very friendly and helpful and have obviously been trained to a high standard. Excellent stay and we will be returning. Highly recommended.
