My apartment is your perfect choice for location, price & the very best reviews! Double room in the ever popular West End. Located on a quiet street, with private parking (temporarilly unavailable due to refurbishment) and a beautiful balcony, you have all the attractions of the West End on your doorstep! Also 1 min walk from train/subway for rest of city. If visiting for the Hydro, it is just 5 mins drive/taxi away from the conference venues. Or if you prefer, it is a pleasant 15 minute walk.
I'm a 35 year old young professional who is friendly, outgoing and always pleased to meet new people. I pride myself on my flat being as good as can be in every way and ensuring all guests leave happy with their stay. Having travelled myself, I can identify with people being new in a city. I would love to welcome you to my city, Glasgow, and tell you all about what makes it so special.
The West End of Glasgow is often described as 'sophisticated', 'up market', 'trendy', 'arty' or 'hipster'. It is also where so many of the students hang out and as such has an incredible amount of bars and restaurants and has established itself as the most talked about going out area in the city. If bars are not your thing worry not, there is plenty more to do. The flat is close to the large park areas of Kelvingrove Park and the Botanic Gardens as well as the famous Kelvingrove Art Gallery and the world class Hydro music venue and SEC. The West End is just the best place in the city and is exactly what you make of it. My flat is located in Partick, an amazing West End neighbourhood with lots of history and tradition. Whilst the famous Ashton Lane, Byres Rd and Finnieston drinking/eating areas are all just a short 10min walk from the flat, Partick also has its own little haunts which I strongly recommend: On your doorstep is Dumbarton Rd, home to 8-10 traditional (and cheaper!) pubs where you'll experience a real friendly Glasgow welcome with live bands and fantastic prices!
