Grimsby has the docks, cleethorpes the sandy beach, the people are lovely beautiful on the inside and outside. Despite the people and areas there being destroyed by labour/eu and lots of propaganda and slander to make people think its better in London, I can clearly see its much better x100000000 than London. The yt vids are pure bs, grimsby and cleethorpes is not full of homeless and crime, you want a true British sea side experience then cleethorpes is the place!

Love Cleethorpes, plenty to do ,has a small zoo, boating lake ,MC Donald's, cinema, plenty of shops and walks, market, amusements , bars and fish shops. We love it. lots of open space dogs cannot go on the beech between April and september. but now is fine.
On bus route for Grimsby to all the shops there.
There's a discovery centre, mini railway and the smallest pub in the UK.
Paddling pool , leisure centre with wave micheen . We only stayed one night, but it was beautiful.

Cleethorpes is a typical small seaside town, the beach is huge with decent sand, the whole sea side area can be viewed in an hour or so there is nothing really distinctive about it but it's OK for a day out and a bit of seaside fun.

Nice place, not the best surroundings, but we enjoyed our overnight stay. The hotel, The Bays on Clees Road was unclean and smelled of dust and cigarettes. The owner, Landlady was very friendly, so difficult to give a negative update, but these are important things that guests, traveller's need to know as our stay wasn't cheap at£70.00 room only.

We found Cleethorpes just right for a short stay.
We found Cleethorpes just right for a short stay. The beaches were clean and safe. Pleasant walking along the prom.
Loads of Amusements for the kids.
We would go for a two or three night break again.
This is a guest house which I think people forget in the reviews, it is not a five star hotel , that being said, the sea front is very close , the room I was in was a ground floor one and it was lovely , there was tea and coffee, a nice bed just that bit low for me ,but that's my Arthritis, the view was a white fence but you don't go for the view in the room you go to the sea front for that, the lady who booked me in was nice, and the toilet and shower were a few steps away , I shall stop there again when next in Cleethorpes.
The apartment is comfortable and spacious with everything we needed, a home from home. It's well located too, being only about 10-15 minutes' walk from the seafront and town centre. The off-road parking is a big plus. Also good communication from Tony who responded quickly to messages. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely book again if travelling to Cleethorpes in the future.
This was without doubt the best guest house I've stayed in , the room was more like a little flat, beautifully clean, the best shower I've seen in a single room , and it even had a fridge to keep my beer cold ! The location was great ,just 10 mins from the train station and 10 mins to the seafront, 5 mins to the shops . If your coming to cleethorpes stay here .
Breakfast wasn't included but you were able to use kitchen facilities for making tea coffees etc that was there for your use. It was by far the best value accommodation I found in the area and you where right in the centre of cleethorpes within minutes walking so didn't need a car . Also bus stop to Grimsby on the doorstep.
Perfectly positioned for a concert at the parkway cinema. Bus stops outside and only £1 pp into the centre of cleethorpes. Room was big. Perfectly adequate but not luxury. The pub below is great. Breakfasts cheap and plentiful. The room was quiet and the bed comfy so we got a good night's sleep
The restaurant, staff and food were magnificent. My room and the restaurant were across the road from the sea. It's a beautiful hotel but with that comes a price. As a local person to Cleethorpes I found the price expensive for the town but there was absolutely nothing to fault about the hotel.
I arrived in Cleethorpes under sad circumstances and needed somewhere to stay for the weekend that would be a calm haven. The room was beautiful and peaceful, and beautifully decorated. The little touches like tea, coffee, milk were lovely and the host was attentive and thoughtful.
Everything was perfect, lovely clean comfortable accommodation with everything you could possibly need. Just a 5 minute stroll to seafront and all amenities. Perfect host who told us everything we needed to know. When next in Cleethorpes will definitely book again, thank you.
We loved our stay at this hotel. This is an older hotel filled with interesting facets with overlays of excellent service by nice people. The restaurant was excellent, location was great. all of the staff we interacted with were fabulous. a very very pleasant experience.
Beautiful big room. Very comfortable big bed and lovely quality bedding. We slept really well. Good to have access to a full kitchen, although we only made tea and toast. Nice walk along the seafront into Cleethorpes.
Booked this hotel to go on a first date and was magical, lovely location along the seafront next to the restaurants and bars and two minutes from the sand. Clean rooms, lovely staff and lovely hotel.
Very nice, very clean property. Situated in a great location in Cleethorpes - not too far away from local amenities and not too close. Breakfast was lovely, a very nice fry up.
