Very comfortable room, not too small. Really good water pressure in the shower. Nice bathroom. All very clean.
Friendly and helpful receptionists.
We enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast. The coffee was pretty food for a machine (2 Italians in our group).

I liked everything about my stay in Pontypridd, both the town itself and the hotel. The hotel has a sister property, which is a bar and restaurant and this was excellent for food. The town has a wonderful park in its' centre, with a beautiful Lido.

Pontypridd surprised us, in a good way!
Pontypridd surprised us, in a good way! It had very vibrant indoor and outdoors markets which offered a huge variety of items. The meat stalls looked wonderful. The shopping centre was equally diverse with some 'chain' stores but many independent stores too. There were some lovely shops selling unusual baby clothes and a fantastic flower shop, Elyn Boutique Faux Wedding Flowers, which specialised in wedding arrangements and flowers which had the most amazing display outside. As we were staying there so we could attend a wedding celebration nearby we really did not see the shops in detail but were amazed at the diversity of shops.
The park was a beautiful place to spend some relaxing time and it was lovely to be able to look at the river and the birds on it from a number of bridges.
The one way system and roads that were only accessible at certain times was challenging, but we managed to get around at the times we needed to. Parking rules were unclear to us so we parked in a carpark that the hotel gave us a permit for.
The town was very clean apart from some areas in the evening, but the areas were cleaned up each morning. The town is vibrant and therefore noisy at night so a central hotel will come with the noise of music and loud shouting, laughter etc which might disturb some people.
We had a meal in Alfred's Bar and Grill and were very pleased with the excellent quality of service, ambience and food. It was nothing like we expected to find in the area. I would highly recommend eating there.
We would happily return to Pontypridd and spend more time there.

Views around the hotel probably is the only thing that I would recommend
Our room number 7 with unacceptable terrible damp smelling mouldy a broken rotten window frames carpet badly soiled dirty ruffled health and safety would have something to say and probably would advise not using this room, bedlinen looked like it hadn’t been changed , dirty very dusty we wrote our names on the shelves very low standard both the bedroom and the bathroom, I could go on much more but I would say £220.50 for that room and without breakfast is shameful, I arrived in my camper van and seriously thought I’d been happy to stay in it .

My daughter lives in Ponty, l live in the Midlands so it's nice to treat ourselves when l come for a visit. We had a lovely evening in the Blue bell hotel and breakfast in Wetherspoons. Really enjoyed our time in Ponty, thanks Wales.
Town Centre Location; right across many restaurants and right next to the station. Easily accessible from the station, a quick walk to the Old Bridge and Memorial Park. Good Food and the interior of the rooms have been tastefully designed. The bar area and the restaurant decor using rustic wood and old furnitures being repurposed. Just a beautiful place to spend an evening for a meal or a drink. Staff were very helpful and friendly
A lovely spacious cottage. Clean, all essentials available, comfy beds, good size bedrooms.
The place was ideally located for us as a family. It was easy to park outside the property or as near as and free. Contact with the owners was easy and they are very helpful. The area is beautiful and lots to explore nearby. It was cheaper than a hotel for the time we stayed! This place was perfect in every way possible.
Hats off to the staff who are just lovely and catered to all requests. The room we booked wasn’t available, hence we were offered free breakfast for the entire duration of our stay. The food served were delicious and the drinks were also fairly priced as well. The Hotel is centrally located in the Pontypridd town near to Banks, Library, Pubs, restaurants and the Pontypridd railway station.
We were in wales to visit family and the location was perfect.
The farmhouse was absolutely beautiful!! Looks like it was professionally decorated. It was well stocked and extremely comfortable. We loved the daily visit of the sheep. Perfect for a family gathering and
plenty of toys and games to entertain the little ones. The welcome cakes and bubbly were appreciated and enjoyed!!
Friendly staff, super helpful and let us lock our mountain bikes in a utility area overnight. Good breakfast and nice restaurant/bar area, plenty of parking, gym facilities, room was comfy and spacious for two people. Great location to explore places in South Wales from, it is just outside of a town in a quiet area. Lesuire facilities included with the stay which is a bonus.
Top of toilet cracked...no hairdryer I had to go to reception to get one...communal male toilets filthy by end of night. Skirting boards off wall in corridors. Lots of cobwebs in communal areas. Drinking gin and tonic did not get gin glass served in either tumbler or wine glass. No milk for tea/coffee in room. Bath did not feel secure was very unsafe underfoot. Dissapointed
I am working a Pontypridd railway station been at this hotel back in January. I recommend that my company books me in everytime I am in area and recommend others are booked into this hotel
Breakfast is very good only one problem it would be good if the coffee was as much as you can drink like premier inn or holiday Inn nothing
Excellent, helpful staff were a delight to deal with.
Bedroom was very large, airy and comfortable. I especially the room having an opening sash window!
Food, especially breakfast was top notch!
The hotel location is very central in Pontypridd, so it was very convenient.
Room much bigger than I expected for a hotel room - sort of like studio size but obviously without the kitchenette. Good wifi that could handle basic streaming (i.e. Netflix). Good general feel to the room, made me feel more at home than if I were at a travelodge.
Great hotel in a very quiet off the beaten track location. We stayed in a ground floor superior (air conditioned room) where we previously stayed last summer. Room was very comfortable and up to date, Large tv, great king sized bed, rainfall shower. Dog friendly.
Lovely hotel, very friendly staff and great price. Bed was very comfortable and plenty of parking. We booked for Sunday lunch on arrival and the food was lovely. Very well priced aswell for a 2 course meal. The breakfast the next morning was also great.
The hotel is beautiful and in a lovely setting.
Hotel staff were very polite and welcoming.
The room was big and airy with a lovely ensuite shower room.
Will be returning and highly recommend
A receptionist when cheak my card details and note my cvv code. And after cheak out for 20 days later he book a hotel on natherland .and use my card .and payment £52 . He is a old man .
