Insulated with our own sheep wool plus under floor heating they can be used all year round. Cosy standard double bed with all fresh linen supplied Fully equipped Kitchen with fridge. hob and combi oven if you’re eating in….or why not use the Barbecue/Fire pit outside. Logs and firelighters can be purchased on site. Free kindling is provided. (Only logs purchased on site may be used with the fire pit for safety) You have your own seating terrace in the beautiful hillside setting Clean crisp shower room electric shower sink and toilet…..no having to go a wandering in the night! Slades Farm Glamping is part of a Farm Diversification to maintain the status and beauty of the farmland. Martin has hand built the Pods and Huts and they are furnished to give the feeling of being next to nature with the fun element of camping made just a little more comfortable and relaxing! Using reclaimed materials from the farm buildings and making them suitable for all season use, the pods against the local landscape making the most of the views and fresh air! The newly built site now sits behind Slades farm with the countryside all around you. The wildlife and farm animals(not so wild!) can be seen often in the fields nearby. Each unit has been hand built and has its own individual character. The Shepherds Hut is based on traditional materials recycled from the farm or local wood. The Chicken Coop is an interesting twist on a traditional hut with a superb vintage interior. The two pods are both arch shaped and look amazing against the landscape with the Lily Pod having a larger floor space and giving your glamping experience the truly luxurious feel. Each unit has its own space planted with trees and shrubs
Slades Farm is just on the edge of the beautiful village of Edington, with the renowned Three Daggers Inn and Farm Shop a 5 minute walk away. It has a large garden with outside seating for guests to enjoy. Centrally placed between Longleat Bath Stonehenge and Salisbury we are perfectly situated for tourist attractions Live and enjoy the local countryside and be next to nature for a refreshing uplifting break, quiet, private and peaceful.
