Scarlett Rose Cottage is a five star tourist board approved beautiful former working Irish farmhouse steeped in history. The owners lovingly restored this Cottage in 2017 in keeping old character with the luxury of modern home comforts. The Cottage is adorned with wonderful antique furniture pieces and guests will receive a welcome pack on arrival with tea, coffee, milk and local Irish home made produce. Bathroom toiletries are provided for guests. For children there are toys and games, a mini DVD player and DVD library as well as books and a fairy door in the twin room!

The owners Ben and Maria have a young family who were very active in the renovation of the property. The property is named after Ben and Maria's children. Their youngest daughter Scarlett discovered a 'fairy tree' in the garden which the owners will be happy to point out to guests! Ben is a fourth generation farmer from Tyrone and Maria's roots are from Munster.

The local area is rural and tranquil and would provide a large garden for children to play in with simply stunning Mountain views on an elevated site. Please note the entrance to the property is open. There is a local car boot on the last Sunday of each month and plenty of historical sites local including ancient stone circle sites and tours as well as a local forest park popular with families and children and an Irish cultural centre nearby. Omagh is a 20 minute drive away through stunning scenery and Cookstown is 10 minutes away. There is golfing and fishing nearby and the site is ideal for hiking and cycling. The popular Ulster Folk Museum is in Omagh and there is a local shop and a cafe within walking distance. There is also a bar in the area with music most weekends.
