Kingston is a great place to visit, a good shopping centre, lovely places to eat . There’s the royal parks there which are great for walking. And all on the river thames . Great links with buses and trains. Overall a good base.

We chose this because we wanted to visit Hampton Court...
We chose this because we wanted to visit Hampton Court Palace. After a superb evening meal at our hotel The White Hart we went for a wander over the bridge where we discovered a lively area of restaurants & bars with a great atmosphere. Also found out about a river boat trip that could take us to Hampton Court. We were able to book tickets online for the next day. And a 5 minute walk from the hotel is a train station that takes you to Waterloo.

It is a lovely area - good railway links into London. There are nice walks and a good selection of bars and restaurants. Our main purpose was to visit Hampton Court and it was an excellent base for that.

The location was easy to fund.
The location was easy to fund. I stayed to attend a concert at twickenham stadium.. I was told by the owner that I could get a bus to twickenham from outside the hotel. The family who owned it were lovely. I would stay here again for sure

It's a good base from which to explore local or nearby places of interest, such as Hampton Court Palace. Very good transport links. There are superb restaurants for all tastes. Excellent shopping area.

The staff is very friendly and professional. My room was spacious and elegant. The bed was comfy and breakfast was good. They even had gluten-free toasts to fit my dietary needs. The hotel is right by the Thames and the Hampton Court bridge. The view from the breakfast room is splendid and peaceful. A bus stop is 2 mins walking distance from the hotel, making it easy to go to Kingston or elsewhere.DominiqueGermany
