The cottage was lovely and once you are there is in a fabulous location. The tight lanes to get to the property can be tricky to navigate especially at night and in the rain. Oncoming traffic can be an issue if there is not a lay-by or pull-in area nearby. It can of course be done with caution and the locals do thank you for reversing to the most appropriate passing place.

We’ve always loved the millbrook inn, so we were very excited to see the cottages become available. The owners have made them stunning and I highly recommend for a relaxing break away from it. So quiet, pretty and comfortable.

Kingsbridge is such a pretty area of Devon and the local people are really lovely. Bentham beach is the most beautiful beach with views that will leave you awestruck. The mountains are really nice to go for an adventurous walk

Pretty little town with good facilities.
Pretty little town with good facilities. Excellent walks, pubs, restaurants. Lots to do and see around the area.
We dined at Twenty Seven which, although on the expensive side, was excellent. Great way to celebrate a birthday.

Kingsbridge is small but with lots of one-off and quirky shops. Its choice of restaurants is ok, but many have limited opening hours. The town itself is pretty, and relatively quiet compared to more popular Devon destinations.

A lovely town, with something for everyone. would liked to have stayed longer. Accessible to centre of town by small boats........but check tide times as you could become stranded until next high tide!
Lovely surrounding scenic views and ideal for walks and exploring.
Beautiful location in the middle of peaceful tranquil countryside yes the lanes to the cottage are single country lanes as are a lot of the roads in and around Devon this didn’t affect our stay!- great facilities at Stancombe Manor - tennis, pitch and put and indoor swimming pool. honeysuckle felt like a well loved family holiday home, clean with comfy beds -it really had everything we needed for our family holiday to Devon -perfect location for Dartmouth, Salcombe and beyond - we very much hope we can return again soon Thank You
Very nice, clean kitchen/diner/lounge and very comfortable bed. Owner was very helpful with providing washing powder as we had been traveling for some time and needed to wash some clothes. Tea and coffee and fresh milk were provided, along with chocolate biscuits. The location is a little bit out of Kingsbridge and up some steep hills so we could take an evening stroll into town, but on the other hand the house backed onto fields and the area was nice and quiet. It was just right for us for two nights.
Absolutely lovely host, a real "bed and breakfast" atmosphere. An easy 15 minute walk from the bus stop in Kingsbridge, or a quick 2 minute taxi ride. The farm and grounds are beautiful and the room itself is massive like a suite. Heated floors in bathroom with a sizeable tub and separate shower. I will definitely stay here again when I am in Kingsbridge.
The host even gave me a ride into town this morning so I didn't have to walk in the rain!
Everything was fabulous. Kimberly & Mike were fantastic hosts. Welcoming us in to the family home. Mike drove is to the crabshell as we couldn’t get a taxi. Wonderful breakfast with lots of choices. I had wonderful porridge & yummy fresh fruit salad. Lots of advice on where to visit & park. Lovely comfy bed & bedding. We loved being there. I’m sure we will stay in touch & if we come back to Devon we wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
Great location, perfect for easily exploring South Devon. Julia’s house was perfect for our group of four friends (2 couples). The house was clean, had great facilities & decorated to a very good standard. The extra touches were very nice & Julia really thinks about her guests. The guest welcome book had all the information you could want & was well put together. We were all very happy with our stay & would highly recommend.
The location is amazing overlooking the Kingsbridge estuary. Both huts are well sized with a good bed, clean sheets & linen and modcons needed if staying there for the day. The kitchen is well equipped, although we took great advantage of the bbq provided.
The on-site shop was well stocked up so guests didn’t need to drive to the nearest supermarket.
Great location just off the A-road, close to Kingsbridge and the coast. Comfortable and modern room, there’s also a communal fridge you can use. There’s no breakfast but you can book the nearby Church House Inn which is in an amazing 13th century building. The owners are helpful if you need anything extra like rinsing and hanging your beachwear.
The surrounding area is very pretty but Kingston looks near to Kingsbridge/Salcombe it is actually much more remote than it looks on the map. Some roads out of village are really narrow and it took a lot longer to travel around area than we expected. Breakfast good. Pub and rooms very quaint and picturesque
We enjoyed our stay near Kingsbridge and especially with Joan - she was a marvellous host, informative, entertaining and nothing about Devon she doesnt know! Highly recommend the house, and the room was perfect with lovely view over the garden and estuary. You are in for a treat and a large slice of life!
Everything you could need for a glamping experience. If you want to try out glamping then this should be a first choice. Great location in Devon, lovely tent, all facilities you will need and great hosts.
You won’t regret a stay at Horseman’s star gazing tent 🏕
Great location, couldn't get enough photos
of the sunsets. The lodge was lovely with large comfy bed and a massive decking area, Tim and Helen were very nice hosts. Very handy for Kingsbridge, Salcombe, Dartmouth and Plymouth. Would definitely go back.
This property was in a truly stunning location. The views were excellent and the facilities were so comfortable. We were once locals to Loddiswell but were returning to see family and friends, it’s made us want to move back home to Devon.
We liked the quietness in the hotel. That gave us a luxuxy feeling. We were not able to have breakfast in the morning because we had to leave early. The lady owner made a packet for us to take with us with bread drinks and fruits.
The most beautiful hotel in a stunning location. We were so well looked after by wonderful hosts Chris and Katy. Loved everything about this place- the breakfast, grounds, decor, our room….. all perfect. Will definitely return.
Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Good pubs for evening meals nearby. Quiet location in beautifully maintained house. Spacious bathroom with constant hot water.
