The hotel is small and friendly. The room and bathroom are not huge but more than acceptable.
We ate in the hotel both nights once in the Stables and the other in the bar and the food was very good, The breakfast was amazing

The apartment was ideal for us visiting relatives nearby. It was cold when we arrived but soon warmed when the heaters were on . It was so convenient for the local shops with a co op and butchers nearby. The bus into Edinburgh was really convenient and will give us many trips when we return, it goes to Dunbar in the other direction . We understand that the local train station is opening soon also. On this occasion we did not have transport. An excellent stay. Thankyou

Have visited North Berwick often but never stayed over as lived not far away in the past. Tantallon and Dirleton Castles are very different with the former having a view of Bass Rock. Very dog friendly. Lots of places to have food and refreshments. The Rocketeer for lobster is a must.

Its a beautiful characterful town and a great place to stay if you are heading up towards Edinburgh. The beaches are beautiful and the town has a great selection of cafes and little shops. The Scottish SeaBird Centre is really good and well worth a visit. A walk to the nearby Tentallon Castle is recommended.

A great place to enjoy golf along the most amazing coastline for golfers.
Two wonderful courses in the town and many more exceptional courses within a few miles.
Several decent pubs and small restaurants. We were told to avoid the Chinese but the fish and chips were great.
The train from Edinburgh only takes 20 minutes and costs pennies!!
The location was very good.🙂 Not too far from the beach but also not so close that it would be in danger of flooding. It was also a couple minute walk from the station, which was good as we were relying on public transport. Another thing that pleased us was the bookcase. It had great books, also ones about Scotland, and a couple of fun games, as well as maps of the area. There is also a guestbook (not in the shelf) with great tips for parks...
The apartment was gorgeous - really clean, cosy and just a few steps away from the one of North Berwick's beautiful beaches. Everything we needed was there and was all new and fresh. The bed was extremely comfortable and the wine and biscuits on arrival were a really nice touch. We were able to arrange a slightly earlier chek-in which was excellent and communication with the host was easy and friendly.
Lovely and warm on a cold long weekend. Very welcoming as host had left heating and lights on for our rather late arrival. At this time of year (early March) was able to park just outside the property. The property is a very short distance from the main shopping/eating area of North Berwick. Situation ideal for early morning walks and browsing shops in the town.
Super property within a few steps of the beach and the high street. Perfectly located for all the boat trips on offer from the harbour at North Berwick and all the walks on offer in the local area. We absolutely loved our short stay here and were sorry to leave. I've spent the last few days recommending it to everyone I know.
Great house in a small city with a great location - walking distance to the beach or golf course, restaurants and the train station to head into the city. The house was as shown in the pictures and was great for our group (2 couples). We were met by the host’s family to give us information about the house/area.
We traveled to North Berwick for The Scottish Open. Linda Vista was a good base for our group to rest after long days at the course with a great kitchen (beach view is wonderful from this space), two lounge areas and comfortable rooms. Easy walk to local restaurants as well as sunrise/ sunset beach walks.
A return visit here and it did not disappoint. A lovely property so well equipped, very clean and it’s locality to both the town centre and the beach is great. The owner is very responsive and helpful. The welcome pack is a helpful addition. We love this area and enjoyed staying again in this house.
Excellent location in the centre of North Berwick with safe parking adjacent to the property. 10 mins walk to the rail station with hourly trains taking just 30 minutes to get to Edinburgh. Great eateries and bars within walking distance along with local supermarket.
Wonderful view overlooking the tee box at the 18th hole of West Links North Berwick GC and the Firth. Easy walk into the center of town, to the golf club and to the beach. The home was comfortable and met our needs for our golf trip to the area.
Excellent location, close to beach, town centre amenities and short walk to train station. Kitchen well equipped and apartment was clean, comfortable, spacious and had lovely views. Quiet area. Parking spot was great to have too.

North Berwick is a beautiful location & town. Very central location. Very recently renovated & modernised with comfy beds, quality bedding etc. New bathroom, shower room & kitchen and spacious living area.
I have been to North Berwick many times but have never stayed at the Nether Abbey. It opened my eyes to somewhere else to stay. Excellent friendly staff. We enjoyed it all round. Easy walk into town.
Was meeting friends so decided to stay over. No12 is central location and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Room and bar/dining area lovely. nothing appeared to be a problem.
The hosts went above and beyond in helping me get around the area. They very kindly accommodated my desire to check in early. And they served a sumptuous and delicious breakfast.
Location was amazing, really quiet and scenic and great walks for our dog. Private tennis court was a bonus. Only 15 min drive to North Berwick. Lots to see and do in the area.
The location of the cottage is stunning, right on the beach. The village of North Berwick appears laid back and expensive. The people are freindly. The views are exceptional.
Everything! Room overlooking golf course amazing. Great pool, gym & spa area. Bar & lounge area was relaxing and had several nice areas to sit. Good food
