Excellent accommodation on a working farm, but still very quiet. In a great central location in the middle of nowhere along some narrow country lanes but close to Launceston and good as a base to explore Devon and Cornwall. Dog friendly with an enclosed garden that was ideal for our small dog. Owners were very friendly with scones, cream, jam, biscuits and milk waiting for us on arrival. We would definitely stay here again.

Orchard Barn is a detached cottage on a farm near the Devon village of St Giles on the Heath. The cottage sleeps five people in three bedrooms, two double and a single, with a bathroom and downstairs shower room. On the ground floor is a hall, a sitting room and a smart kitchen with dining area. Outside is an enclosed garden with lawn and sunny terrace, as well as acres of woodland to walk. Just over a mile from the village and located on the border between Devon and Cornwall, Orchard Barn is an excellent base for a fascinating Devon holiday. Note: Drive is rough and steep in places. Stairs have low beams, 5'11" lintel at bottom of stairs. Spring water.
