Been too Lytham & Lytham St Anne’s x3 now.
Been too Lytham & Lytham St Anne’s x3 now. Hubby absolutely loves it there & the beaches are lovely (though I’m not a lover of sand). There are plenty of restaurants, pubs/bars & shops too suit all pockets & tastes. We’ve walked from Lytham St Anne’s through to St.Annes on Sea (where the Windmill is) & then round to Lytham square where there are lots of places for a drink & meal, after stopping at a local bar with pub grub (The Railway). So yes I’d recommend. Beaches are safe, there’s a small funfair, & plenty of garden’s (e.g. Ashton’s Park) & if it rains there’s a cinema & an indoor pool. So also plenty to keep kids entertained. The bus service is pretty regular although it can be confusing if you are new to the place - we would have gotten bus into Blackpool (if a local hadn’t told us) instead of into Lytham Square where we were going for a meal at the ‘Olive Tree’, 54 is also good as are Allegria (in St Anne’s) & The Anatolia Sky (on sea front). The chippy near the pier is also good (& cheaper than what we pay at home for fish & chips) with big portions.

We walked to Lytham one day and to Blackpool and back the next, even in not so good weather but St Annes is right in the middle of the two. The town itself is lovely and with plenty of charm and plenty of nice pubs etc. We had a lovely fish supper in the "St Annes Fish Restaurant", very reasonable and delicious. As it was off season, not too busy but thats how we like it. A trip to the "Island cinema" was a pleasant change on a dreary day.

There sems to be confusion between Lytham St Annes and Lytham. These are two different locations, Lytham being south of Lytham St Annes. The White House is ideally situated for both locations. Lytham has a charming shopping centre and is particularly good for street cafes.

We Stayed in the Queens Hotel Lytham attention to cleanliness was very poor, stair case carpet is very dirty with a smashed window, We stayed in the Queen Victoria room the room was musty the bathroom has mold around the bath and dirt marks under the radiator which could easily be cleaned, also the four poster bed is very hard and creeks every time you move we paid £190 for one night. Not value for money

We had a nice and pleasant stay and the staff were really good and helpful and did all they could to make our stay comfortable, the only downside was we were expecting a room with a balcony as shown on the pictures on booking. com which was misleading people to think that you could get rooms with a balcony and when we asked the hotel we were told that you could only do that by booking directly with themselves instead of through a third party like booking. com so booking. com is giving out misleading information with regards to the place

Fantastic host from the moment we walked in very friendly and made us welcome hotel is very clean and modern and the breakfast we had was fantastic had the full English and was even treated to a bucks fizz with our orange juice and coffee but there is a huge choice of items to choose from the menu will definitely stay again as also excellent location for all the bars and restaurants in Lytham. 10/10
we have stayed at the County hotel 3 or 4 times now and we like it because it’s so handy for everything in Lytham, the staff are nice, the rooms are reasonably priced, the rooms are clean and a good size, the bathroom facilities are spacious with everything you need. Also bar and restaurant in hotel has nice food and variety of beers. It’s perfect for our needs.
The Queens Hotel is a lovely hotel the food is excellent and the staff were really friendly and helpful the room was very clean and furnished well the only downside was the bed was a small double so next time we go to stay there we’ll make sure we have a bigger room and bed it’s also very well located for the centre of Lytham can’t wait to go back
On a golf trip to play the nearby championship golf courses and usually stay in hotels but seen the great reviews for this B&B and thought we would stay there. We were not disappointed, Keith is the best host I’ve came across when travelling. Breakfast 10/10, room was exactly what we needed. Thanks for a great stay!
The room was adequate for our stay, clean and was quiet but the hotel was not busy due to the time of the year. The breakfast was plentiful and hot. The location of the hotel was perfect for trips into Blackpool or Lytham, or just to hang about in St Annes. Plenty of parking, but again, it is was off season!
Wonderful gem of a hotel, country house style but 5 minutes to the centre of Lytham which is also great with restaurants and smart bars. Large comfortable bed, clean and very large bathroom (number 16). The staff could not be more friendly and helpful. Lovely cooked breakfast with table service. Will be back
property was lovely, rooms comfortable but a little small (our fault though as we booked the compact double)
very well maintained and clean throughout.
we went to the Lytham festival and arrived back late but the hotel bar was still open and food was available until late which we thought was great.
Te hotel is in a superb location close to the seafront and local facilities, it has superb facilities for families and is perectly loicated for visiting local towns and attractiaons as well as using the superb attractions, seafront and parks in Lytham area it is an ideal place to stay.
Excellent location, value for money, cleanliness, very peaceful at night for a relaxing sleep, good breakfast and a very friendly helpful professional host. I would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday break in a very pretty seaside resort.
Room was clean, all amenities were provided. We had the top floor twin room, booked for Lytham Festival. Short bus ride into Lytham, bus stop at the rear of the hotel. Lovely place to stay.
Stunning rooms, beautiful meal downstairs in the evening but I have to say the breakfast was far the best we have had, what a choice. We absolutely recommend this hotel.
