I liked that they had a restaurant and bar - convenient off the motorway too
Shops, bars and restaurants. River runs through the town centre under the road which is opened in parts so that you can see the river. The Flying Horse pub has excellent food with great choice on the menu and reasonably priced. Great choice of unique ales on offer too.

Rochdale is a charming town that pleasantly surprised me during my visit. It boasts a unique blend of historic charm and modern amenities. The town's rich history is evident in its beautiful architecture, like the stunning Rochdale Town Hall.
I particularly enjoyed exploring the local markets, which offered a variety of fresh produce and unique artisanal goods. The warmth and friendliness of the locals added to the town's welcoming atmosphere.
Rochdale's green spaces, such as Healey Dell Nature Reserve, provide a peaceful escape from the urban hustle and bustle. Additionally, the convenient transportation links made it easy to explore neighboring areas.
All in all, Rochdale offers a delightful mix of history, culture, and natural beauty, making it a destination worth exploring.

Rochdale exceeded expectations with its convenient location and warm atmosphere. The flat's comfort and thoughtful amenities, coupled with Muhammad's exceptional hosting, made the stay truly memorable. While parking could be a slight challenge, the overall experience was exceptional. A definite recommendation for anyone seeking a cozy home away from home.

Nice looking town we were going on the train at Bury, East Lancs Railway and the accommodation was nicely close and in the countryside. It was so quiet overnight not a sound. Didn’t have time to eat or look round the town but the meal on the train was excellent

Rochdale gets a hard time in the press. Its unfair.
Rochdale gets a hard time in the press. Its unfair. I am not from Rochdale (I'm from Newcastle) but have relocated here due to personal circumstances. First of all, there is some wonderful countryside 15 minutes drive from the town centre. There is the lovely Hollingsworth Lake, 10 minutes away, with a lovely carvery pub, amusement arcade and fish and chip shops. In the town centre, there is the "Riverside" development - lots of new shops, bars, restaurants, cinema. You don't need to travel to Manchester to get what you need anymore. The rents here are cheap and if you work in Manchester the train takes only 20 minutes max

The highlight was the breakfast and the morning shower the room was next to the main road and road noise all night, the bed was too soft and old fashioned I am used to firmer modern beds, the room heat was not controllable and so too warm an uncomfortable night luckily only one night stay.
Great value hotel in centre of Rochdale close to all amenities town centre and train station. Own on sight car park if you are driving. I booked a double room was clean comfortable bed with tea and coffee and kettle. Bathroom was clean with hot and cold water with a bath and shower. Breakfast was also included in the price I had the full English with fresh orange juice before my check out
The staff were great and very helpful to accommodate your stay.
The hotel was amazing and surpassed our expectations. It was excellent value for money and exceptionally clean. The staff were so friendly and very accommodating. We stayed with our 3 year old and the room was comfortable and serviced each day. It was in a convenient location for us as we were visiting family in Heywood. We will definitely be staying again as we visit the area regularly.
Excellent for parking
Quiet location
Nice outside area with views
Very helpful, friendly and welcoming staff throughout - a major credit to the hotel
Good sized comfortable rooms, with all you need including nice view with good daylight
Fantastic food, choice and service, relaxing environment
All spa facilities working and very good
Did I mention the superb attentive staff ?
Property is easily accessible & have everything which is necessary for a serviced appartment to spend few days, no wardrobe but have got open stands to manage clothing.
Huge Availability of big stores like, M&S, TK Max, Aldi and asian shops along with restaurants around.
Connectivity wise property is at the heart of Rochdale.
Overall an ok experience with the property.
from stepping in the front door me and my friend were made so welcome and looked after. the lady that checked us in helped us find a cheap and relatable taxi service for the weekend and made sure we got back alright which was comforting! they really went beyond the normal standard of a hotel made you feel like a guest not just a number :)
It’s a great property with two large bedrooms and three bathrooms offering families lots of space. Afull kitchen dining area and family room in a spectacular location. the perfect getaway. Nigel and Stephen are great hosts and are on property should you need anything.
It is a lovely spot in the Lancashire countryside. we didn’t have a car but managed on foot(long walks) and cabs. There are a few buses nearby. Our room was spotless and the tea and coffee making facilities in the room were appreciated.
Check-in was smooth, extensive breakfast offerings, staff were friendly and helpful, location was good, hotel ambience was calm and warm, good quality bathroom/shower facilities, room was good value for money.
I didn't take the Breakfast. The accommodation though fairly close to Rochdale Town Centre was out in the countryside and lovely and peaceful, with beautiful views. Lovely friendly people.
The breakfast was good. There was a good choice, the food was tasty and well presented. All the staff were continually helpful, friendly and added well to the good atmosphere of the hotel
Louisa & nyle from the reception were very cooperative and kind , many thanks for Louisa❤️ Exceptional location , close to the rochdale interchange and city centre
lovely comfy homely hotel, with a choice of two lovely restaurants, there is a nice bar area too. my room looked like it had been recently renovated and was lovely.
