As it was a Sunday, I arrived early to sample the Carvery and I wasn't disappointed. The food was tasty and plentiful.Pauline's bright bubbly welcome to the restaurant got my trip off to a fabulous start. It continued with Toni's warm welcome and efficient check in. My room was spacious and comfy, along with the large power shower. Cal's bright and bubbly service in the bar great.
Breakfast as ever was fabulous added to by Ruth's warm morning greetings. Zoe's friendly and smiley check out. 10/10 as always 😃

Really location up the beachy head end of Eastbourne, good sea view and nice park and restaurant in front of hotel.
Staff great, breakfast was good, and for 3 of us the family room was great (1 adult, 1 baby, one 9 year old).
This magnificent 5-star hotel faces the beach from King Edward's Parade. It offers luxurious accommodation, 2 award-winning restaurants, and both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool.
The The Relais Cooden Beach is in Bexhill, East Sussex - a unique award-winning hotel that is located directly on the beach.

The location is superb with the hotel facing the sea and shingle beach. The food was overall very good (Breakfast was excellent) and wine list at dinner was more than adequate. Lounge area was very pleasant.
W/C 19.02.24 - Please note scaffolding to the front of the building to enable essential repairs and redecoration - This may affect sea views - If you have any concerns please contact us.

Great welcome at reception very informative and helpful..very comfy beds and pillows..lovely hot plentiful water for bath
Plenty soaps etc..Great view of sea from window...vending machine for snacks.. available alcohol to buy if wanted..2 nice seating areas on ground floor...chocolate biscuits(wrapped) on hall table to help yourself...and also bowl of sweets at reception...lovely helpful young lady at reception next a.m...and a snack bag of croissant yogurt and satsuma jam and butter available for all guests...which wasn't expected...wasn't noted on booking...so a yummy pleasant surprise...the hotel was being rejuvenated repainted outside which looked really good/modern grey...it goes to show hotel cared to spend £..they even scratched off the date etc for £2 parking ticket which was cheaper than parking meters...it was the quietest hotel we ever stayed in..it seemed like rooms wernt that close to each other to get disturbed by other guests....it felt to me like it was privately owned re all the lil extras added... Well done West Rocks..we would definitely like to return..👍💐

Staff altogether wonderful, eg. Valeria waitress, Katie (?) on reception. I slept better than at home.
I see this as a grand old hotel which has seen better days, but I see you are making real effort to refurbish building, with good number of painters, decoraters and the like around.
Very good value for four nights (single) with breakfast and, three evening meals; pleasant sun lounge overlooking promenade; location on Marine Drive perfect.
I like patronising employee-owned business, and if ever visiting places where this group has an hotel, I'll probably stay there.
Good to see memoribilia of hotel displayed, eg. old bills, photos of 1938 local hoteliers' dinner/dance, etc.
Over years I've paid more for less value.

Mobile Home site is ideally located right on pebble beach. There is a swimming & bar complex which we didn't have time to use. The site is clean & well-maintained. The location is ideal from which to visit Brighton, Eastbourne and Hastings which are nearby seaside towns of historical and architectural interest.

There’s not much in Pevensey but the shore is lovely to walk along. The castle is worth a short visit and you can walk there from the beach area. Lovely tea room near the castle in Westham.
Sovereign Harbour is worth a visit, take a boat ride, have lunch etc. Watch the seals in the harbour entrance.

The hotel had a very welcoming feel and the bar and restaurant looked the part of a 1930s pub. The hotel rooms were in a state of renovation. but clean and pleasant. Pevensey was a nice little town with all the shops one needs, very close to the sea.
The location is fabulous - right by the beach, so we went paddling straight away! Just fantastic! Pevensey Bay has a glorious beach, so to be able to access it so easily was marvellous. Our host, Wendy, was so welcoming as well, which was wonderful. The Cabin itself was very clean, beautifully decorated and had everything you might need for a short stay including an excellent little bathroom and a small (but fully kitted-out) kitchen, complete with a very thoughtful welcome package of bread, milk and cookies 😊
Lovely property - great space, well laid out, tastefully decorated & appointed. Weather wasn't great for our stay but we still managed to enjoy time in the hot tub and beach hut. Great location, right next to the beach - couldn't be any closer! Parking easy. Bedrooms comfortable with toilet / bathroom on each floor. Would highly recommend for groups of friends / family gatherings. Walkable to Pevensey Castle (~ 30mins each way) and also along coast to Eastbourne (~ 1.5h e/w)
Beautiful old cottage which has been in Graham's family for centuries and has been really taken care of. Not far from the beach at all. We were lucky enough to see a sea-lion. Not far from Pevensey and a short drive to Eastbourne. Nice garden to relax in. Graham's daughters also friendly and helpful. Comfortable, homely, nice place. Would return again. Stairs narrow and steep adds to quaintness. Relaxing and peaceful.
Was clean and decorated quite nicely, cheap slippers are provided which is good to rectify the floor being icy cold, price is good but only if place is warm enough (not during winter and minus temperature) but not really set up for more than 2 people. Recommend to avoid in the cold months. I'm checking out to book into a hotel where I can have a proper shower and feel warm and comfortable
Great location on a great holiday park. Stones throw to the beach. Quiet holiday park no disturbance at night. Bus stop outside the gates that takes you straight to EastBourne or Hastings.
Older unit but very clean tidy and well equipped
Good fish and chip shop and pub in Pevensey Bay.
Club house and swimming pool
Perfect for a long weekend away for the family
The hotel was clean, recently refurbished rooms, in a quiet area, with lots of parking. It is self service check in and easy to come in and out as you please. There is a really nice cafe nearby for breakfast
The cottage is fabulous and immaculately kept. In a great location to explore Pevensey and the surrounding area.
We will most definitely be back and can't recommend it enough!
Lovely, Clean hotel with everything you would need for a stay away from home , we would definitely return to stay there again the location is fantastic 😀
