The cottage was lovely and once you are there is in a fabulous location. The tight lanes to get to the property can be tricky to navigate especially at night and in the rain. Oncoming traffic can be an issue if there is not a lay-by or pull-in area nearby. It can of course be done with caution and the locals do thank you for reversing to the most appropriate passing place.

Pretty little town with good facilities.
Pretty little town with good facilities. Excellent walks, pubs, restaurants. Lots to do and see around the area. We dined at Twenty Seven which, although on the expensive side, was excellent. Great way to celebrate a birthday.

Kingsbridge is small but with lots of one-off and quirky shops. Its choice of restaurants is ok, but many have limited opening hours. The town itself is pretty, and relatively quiet compared to more popular Devon destinations.

A lovely town, with something for everyone. would liked to have stayed longer. Accessible to centre of town by small boats........but check tide times as you could become stranded until next high tide! Lovely surrounding scenic views and ideal for walks and exploring.

Lots of food and drink options locally and all the amenities needed within the property. Some lovely touches which were greatly appreciated after a long drive e.g flowers, bottles of presecco/wine, welcome postcard.. Parking is not far from the property and space to off load by the front door to save walking cases through the lovely village. Beds are really comfy and we are looking at buying the duvets!

The location is a little bit out of Kingsbridge and up some steep hills so we could take an evening stroll into town, but on the other hand the house backed onto fields and the area was nice and quiet. We enjoyed a pre dinner drink on the terrace at the back of the property which was well situated with a great view of surrounding countryside and very relaxing. Great location just 5 mins drive from Kingsbridge Sue John and team were very friendly and welcoming-thank you for a great stay we will be back.

An easy 15 minute walk from the bus stop in Kingsbridge, or a quick 2 minute taxi ride. The farm and grounds are beautiful and the room itself is massive like a suite. Heated floors in bathroom with a sizeable tub and separate shower. I will definitely stay here again when I am in Kingsbridge. The host even gave me a ride into town this morning so I didn't have to walk in the rain!CJUnited States

The yurt was a fantastic space, really comfy beds and the sounds of owls, crickets and nature so close was incredible. Our girls also loved picking the apples and blackberries that grew outside. Some roads out of village are really narrow and it took a lot longer to travel around area than we expected. Breakfast good. Pub and rooms very quaint and picturesque
