Stayed here as it was handy for visiting a relative in the local hospital. The breakfast was lovely and had a comfy night sleep. Had an evening meal from downstairs which was lovely also.

This is a great place but 3 days is about right as many places are either closed or on reduced hours e.g. Captain Cook and Dorman? Museum. I went to Redcar and Saltburn for the other days which were very worthwhile.
The Saltholme nature reserve is a great attraction and caters for young and old alike. The modern visitor centre gives great views of the large reserve and the numerous hides scattered across the enormous site give fantastic views of the many different birds.
The visit to the Transporter visitor centre was fascinating but it would be great if they could repair the Transporter which would be a drawcard for so many people in the UK and beyond.
Public transport is very reliable and frequent and the train travel to the places mentioned above was very cheap and quick.

Spent most of our time at an event at the university so didn't get to see much of Middlesbrough. Lots of places serving food but especially loved The Tea House, Grange Road with its large selection of teas and cakes.
Loved the fountain and light display opposite the Holiday Inn too

On the second evening I stayed at this property the door was physically kicked off the hinges at half 1 in the morning by 3 drug dealers coming to collect an outstanding debt by one of the permanent people who lives there. The door wasn't fixed for 48hrs leaving the place completely open to anyone wanting to gain entry. The place is a dump and without doubt the worst experience i've ever had whilst contracting around the U.K. avoid at all costs.

Wroxton close is not a property i would recommend.
Wroxton close is not a property i would recommend. There was no cooking utensils in kitchen. There was a unsecure wardrope door that fell of hitting my fiancee in the face. Lack of information how to work tv,heating, warm water, wifi etc. Very basic bed linen, only one pillow per person which was very poor material. lack of towels as well. Definitely wont be back. Worst ever self catering/air b&b.
When we travel up from Southampton we always stay at this hotel, the ambiance and comfortable feel of it got us ! We go down to the spa in the mornings the lovely guy at the desk is welcoming chatty and smiley. We haven't tried one of the breakfasts there yet,but will consider next visit. The rooms are always clean and the bed is so comfy you sink into it and sleep peacefully. Worth the money and will be going back again this year at some point.
The facilities are excellent, everything you will need for a stay away from home, very comfortable and clean. It was a bit of a challenge to gain entry but the directions given were precise and once you have the fob it is easy after that. Very secure for anyone especially females travelling alone. Great location 5 minute walk form the Riverside and 15-20mins mins to town centre. Definitely recommend and will stay again when working in area.
Had little contact with host but on the occasions we did meet he was very hospitable and friendly. Self check in ran smoothly. Ensuite room, clean and had storage space. Close to Uni area and enjoyable pub within campus open to all Ten minutes walk to plenty of restaurants and another ten to town centre.
I actually stayed at the Baltimore hotel, across the road. I presume it is run by the same management.
Clean and warm room, with ensuite, which was a bonus as I was expecting a shared bathroom across the road!
Friendly staff, good breakfast, great value for money..cheers😁
Beautifully clean, well equipped and comfy. Easy walk to the big hospital, pub/carvery and small convenience store. Parking fine, if no car its right on a bus route to central Middlesbrough or in the other direction a mile or so to local shops and big park.
Location around a mile and abit walk into boro town centre and a mile to the stadium , nice breakfast and a bar avaliable with reasonable prices - over all clean property and good value for.money perfect for football or concert stay over very friendly staff
The warm, small, boutique and quirky hotel was just what was required after our long drive down from Linlithgow.
We loved the location and the staff were more than welcoming, with a hearty breakfast prepared for us the next morning to send us on our way.
It was a base for our trip, no complaints about the hotel.
The hotel caters for weddings, and there was one after the other, which did not bother us, music was comfortable loud, and with it being a wedding we had no complaints about it.
The location was good, very friendly staff, entertainment was a great bonus, value was pretty good, cleanliness and facilities were good, definitely will give Premier Inn a run for their money, I will definitely be returning.
Hotel is centrally located within ten minutes' level walk of the railway station.
A warm welcome on a miserable night!
A clean, pleasant room containing all the facilities one would expect.
Friendly and helpful staff. Good location in centre of Middlesbrough, lots of places to eat nearby although the food in the hotel is good and a fairly broad choice.
