we booked a two night stay via booking.com. A couple of weeks later we added an extra night via our booking.com account. However Booking.com did not inform the hotel of the extra night.
Not sure I would use booking.com again.

Leigh deserves more than the *** stars it has!
Leigh deserves more than the *** stars it has! It's modern, clean, works efficiently and the staff were very helpful.
I had trouble with the TV remote control not working, which they sorted out on the spot by fitting new batteries.
The WiFi was a different matter. There was simply no signal in my room.
The food wasn't anything to write home about. Disappointing Scampi and Chips (odd-tasting Scampi, almost soggy chips) for Dinner. The inclusive breakfast was also a bit of a disappointment, with few choices for the "Full English". No fried eggs, no potato scones; no hash browns; no tomatoes. Marmalade came out of a serve-yourself jar with a sticky teaspoon.

Fabulous, modern, clean, slick - let down is food.
Fabulous, modern, clean, slick - let down is food. Especially vegan/ veggie options in both breakfast menu & lunch menu. Bit crap really but fills a hole! Staff lovely. I guess not used to a demand for mushrooms, tomatoes, veggie/ vegan food in general.

Beautiful place with plenty of shops for you shoppers. Really enjoyed it , will go back.
Actually , whenever we visit anywhere, we think, it’s ok to visit but I wouldn’t like to live here…. Leigh was different, we considered we would actually like to live there !

Pros:
Pros:
Good for somewhere to stay if your heading for the Manchester area. Cozy little pub attached to the hotel, really friendly hard working staff.
Cons;
There was a wedding at the hotel and they were understaffed so had to wait over an hour for food. The management should have added extra staff but it appears the staff were dealing with the wedding catering and hotel restaurant. However it was a nice enough meal when it came.
The noise & music from the wedding could be heard in my room until past midnight. So a bit unlucky with a wedding being on but I would go back (after checking if there was a function first!)

Hotel was adequate... not very clean, needs updating.
Hotel was adequate... not very clean, needs updating. Won't be going back.
I use to live in and around Leigh so know area quite well. Enjoyed being with the family. Adequate shops.. some lovely places to visit. Not far from Liverpool, quite central
We were attending a dance competition at the Leigh Sports Village. Hotel was perfect location within walking distance.
The staff were efficient and friendly. We had a really positive experience both nights at the bar/restaurant being served by a lady called Angel, she couldn't have done anymore to ensure myself and my daughter were looked after during our stay.
The rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable.
Lots of breakfasts options included in the price we would go back in the future.
A budget Hotel attached to a pleasant pub. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room we had (an upgrade on the one we booked) was very large with a comfy bed, efficient shower and tea/coffee making tray. The room was very clean. The Hotel was quiet inside during the night and, with the window closed, there was very little external noise.
If you come here expecting the Ritz you're going to be disappointed.
However it's comfortable/clean enough, the staff are brilliant and it's very cheap. Far better than the similarly priced Britannia Hotels.
There's also a smart TV in the room which was a brilliant little addition.
Location in Leigh Sports Village (as its name suggests) including close proximity to the main stadium, ample onsite free parking, mostly enjoyable and trouble free accommodation and restaurant experiences. All round convenience for my purposes. I'd happily stay again.
The staff and atmosphere were welcoming friendly and so helpful. I traveled with my daughter to see the ladies Manchester team play location was excellent and we both felt so safe which will definitely be somewhere we will stay and recommend to family/friends .
Price was cheap especially given my late booking and all other hotels in the area were charging a fortune! Location is right on the East Lancs, ideal for business in Leigh or even onward travel into Manchester. Lots of parking
Felt very welcoming and once I checked out and messaged the hotel back cause my money wasn't in it went straight into my account staff were very helpful and breakfast was lovely would definitely go again
The house was lovely and clean with good wifi. It’s much more spacious once you get inside and better value than a hotel. And they let us check out a bit later for no extra charge.
