The food was fantastic. Great alternative to eating out all the time. We ate breakfasts and suppers at the hotel, and ate our lunches in Lerwick.

Nearby we have the Ting Holm, seat of the Viking parliament close to St Magnus Kirk standing at the head of Tingwall loch for over 200years. A short trip to the south end of the valley you will find the ancient capital of Scalloway with its castle and small well thought out museum, along with the north Atlantic Fisheries College of international reknown.
