Menai Bridge is ¾ mile away with shops, restaurants, pubs and a supermarket. Beaumaris, 3 miles, has a host of attractions including a 13th-century castle, golf, sailing and sea fishing. There are many superb walking opportunities on the island, and the Anglesey Coastal Path passes the cottage. The Snowdonia National Park with its numerous outdoor pursuits is a short drive away.
