This place is amazing. Hosts are amazing. In fact our stay here was so amazing, you don’t really want everyone to know about it. Almost like it’s too good to be true. I will definitely be back and highly recommend it.

We had visited Hall as an historic house on a previous occasion so were delighted to find that it was possible to stay there. It completely exceeded our expectations in every respect. Our hosts were wonderfully friendly and welcoming and the rooms were beautifully furnished in keeping with the period of the building. Extraordinarily comfortable beds and a very good breakfast. The Devonshire countryside, the magnificent views from the house and early morning walks on the estate all made for a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxed stay. We really felt that we were guests staying at a country house - as indeed we were! We will certainly come again.

Absolutely stunning house and grounds. Hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble, even giving us a lift into Barnstable to save us taxi hassle! Room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Will definitely visit again.

This is a hidden gem, the photos simply do not do the house interiors and landscape justice. The hosts are incredibly friendly and kind, making this such a comfortable and special stay. Location is excellent for being an authentic experience while still close to Devon's best beaches and locations. The breakfast was perfect, but the view from the big dining room windows is the best I've ever experienced. Rooms are very comfortable, meticulously clean and have fantastic views. TV, WiFi etc were far more reliable and well thought through than other b&b's I've visited. Myself and my wife visit many boutique hotels and b&b's on our road trips but this one stands out. P.s use a map to get there, it's easy enough. The Sat Nav will try to kill you.

Absolutely beautiful building, we had an amazing stay. Room was stunning with incredible views, loved watching the lambs playing. Bed was so comfortable and bath was divine. Mikie and Clare were amazing hosts and very friendly, we can't wait to come back and see Juno and give Oliver a tummy rub!

Claire and Mike were very hospitable, kind and welcoming hosts. Their home is beautiful, restful and in a lovely location. My room and bed were very comfortable ... and breakfast was excellent. It was a memorable stay and I would definitely return.

After a week's camping Hall was just the place to unwind. It's an imposing property with a rich history. The photos really don't do it justice and the drive up the long cobbled driveway revealed much more than we were expecting. Our daughters mouths were agape! The rooms are beautifully presented with huge, elegant bathrooms with roll top baths. They are sensitively upgraded and modernised. The views from both rooms are stunning and are incredibly relaxing, especially when having a bath! Breakfast was a joy, with the option of continental or a full English. Michael and Claire are both wonderful and consummate hosts, who are both discrete and yet interested in you as guests. I really enjoyed getting the background history on the place. All in all it exceeded our expectations
