Camden Arms Hotel, hotel in Hadlow

Located in the quaint village of Pembury, Camden Arms Hotel is just 3 miles from Royal Tunbridge Wells and surrounded by the picturesque Kent Countryside.

Excellent breakfast and service. We had two evening meals from the same menu. First was excellent but second was a bit disappointing possibly because the restaurant was busier. Very comfortable bed and nice en suite and room very clean. Very helpful friendly staff.

The Carpenters Arms, hotel in Hadlow

The Carpenters Arms is a hotel with a reputation as a high-standard gastro pub, producing great food and serving customers in a warm, friendly manner.

On arrival, we found free almond biscuits in a small glass jar. With that, we sat on the sofa in our spacious bedroom. We took a moment to appreciate its beams and serenity. From there, we counted three rows of pillows on our king size bed. Three rows of pillows and a bolster. Imagine that.

The Rose & Crown Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western, hotel in Hadlow

The Rose & Crown Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western is an old English coaching Inn, set in the heart of Tonbridge.

It's a really quirky old building which I found particularly charming. Our room was dark oak panelled, with a very comfortable 4-poster bed, and the rest of the furniture was appropriate to the ambience. All the staff were particularly friendly and cheerful. The drinks were very reasonably priced, and the breakfast was very good. I'd booked it purely on price as all we needed was a bed for the night, but we got far more for our money than I would have expected. As long as you're not looking for some kind of super modern luxury experience, I'd really recommend it.

Staff were very helpful, calling up the day before to try and sort early check in that I had mentioned on my booking form. Breakfast in the morning was a good spread of cooked breakfast to order and continental buffet.

We were there to participate in a Diamond Wedding lunch and the meal was excellent, the function room was spacious. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, the breakfast was good and the whole experience of being there was a delight. The hotel is quite close to the M20 so is easily accessible and although it is just off a main road it feels as if it is completely isolated with lovely views from the bedrooms.

This is a good hotel with nice rooms and surrounding gardens. I think the bar is rather cramped and the service lacked charm. Over all, I thought I got good value for money. I did not eat at Hadlow Manor so cannot comment on the quality of the food.

The location was great, the room was lovely and clean, but the food let this location / stay down. The chaotic breakfast on the second nights stay was terrible!! no order, no choice and running out of all foods and drinks. Only one member of staff on duty.

Comfy beds, nice breakfast even though choice was limited and expensive for what you got. Decor dated but very clean. Shower noisy and not fit for purpose. Would not stay again but it served its purpose for one nights stay.

Despite there being two weddings being held simultaneously on the Saturday evening of our stay, the staff went out of their way to ensure that our stay was not affected by any noise - even going the extra mile to set up our own dining room for our evening meal. Top marks all round. Our room was at the opposite end of the hotel to the weddings taking place and we had a completely undisturbed night's sleep

Beautiful, excellent location & reasonable price. We were so lucky to get this room relatively last minute for a wedding we attended in the area after being let down at another hotel. The staff were lovely & the grounds were beautiful. The gardener(s) have done such a lovely job!

Our room was large and bathroom was enormous! Very comfortable Hypnos beds, tea, coffee & biscuits in room. Nice and quiet even though there was a wedding party at the hotel. Bar drinks were very reasonably priced and staff extremely welcoming.
