The Beaumont, hotel in Sittingbourne

The Beaumont is on the A2, 1.2 km from Sittingbourne Rail Station and town centre. It has free WiFi, free parking and a varied breakfast menu.

It was our first experience in a family room with our son. He loved it, but was had to sit in darkness while he fell asleep! Decor was looking a bit tired, but everything was clean. Good extras provided for tea and coffee making. Breakfast was lovely in the conservatory. Full english was on the small side, but still very nice. Lots of additional bits to choose from, such as fresh fruit, cereal, fruit juice. Hosts were very friendly and accomodating.

Alpaca Lodge, hotel in Sittingbourne

Featuring a garden, private pool and garden views, Alpaca Lodge is located in Sittingbourne.

A warm welcome by Tina. The Alpaca Lodge is quirky and unique. The lodge itself is very comfortable and well-equipped, with the addition of the most beautiful animals wandering around. They are so well cared for. The outdoor facilities are great, bbq's, many seating areas, games and the pool is a huge bonus. We can't wait to return.

Excellent location, very private, view out over open countryside. Stepping from the french windows straight into the countryside. No people around, just lots of wildlife and birdsong. Close to many North Kent nature reserves (within a half hour drive)

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet at Watercress Barns.

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet at Watercress Barns. The balcony apartment was very well equipped, bright and comfortable. Perfect for our 3 nights stay. There are some good local pubs in close by villages serving great food. Very easy to access the accommodation from M2 and M20 too.

Sittingbourne is a good and convenient place to stay if you are want to visit north Kent, but also fancy a trip or two into London. Nearby attractions include: Seaside towns like Margate, Whitstable, Broadstairs, Minster and Herne Bay. RSPB nature reserve on the Isle of Sheppey. Leeds Castle and London via train in around an hour.

The traffic on the main A2, running through Sittingbourne,...

The traffic on the main A2, running through Sittingbourne, is a nightmare at rush hour times, and there are numerous traffic lights along the route. A short distance takes longer to travel than you might anticipate, even in non-rush-hour periods. There is a complicated one-way system in the town centre and there is nowhere to pull up, just to pick up or set down a passenger, outside the railway station (unless you happen to be a taxi). The suburban streets have many speed bumps along them, making traveling around the town generally uncomfortable.

Nothing to review as we came to see my friend and stayed at hers for the day. Plus I usually come for the day and stay at her sometimes. But as I had a friend with me we are now going to stay there each time we come together.

My wife, son and I stayed here for a night in June 2021. The host, Jane, was lovely. Her house was comfortable and very clean, with a lovely garden/backyard. The location was great for our needs, just about 10 mins drive to Sittingbourne station and about 20-25 minutes to Tankerton beach (Whitstable) and 20 minutes to Elmley Nature Reserve. The house is right next to the Borden Cricket Club entrance. The customised home cooked breakfast was delicious. This B&B is an easy recommendation.

My third stay here. I love the decor as you walk in, the beautifully kept gardens and plenty of parking. The spa facilities are excellent and very appealing. Above all else though this hotel understands customer service. From start to finish, all staff from reception, bedroom cleaning to restaurant staff - they couldn’t do enough for you. This is a very dog friendly place and staff went over and above to make us feel very welcome.

Great hotel. The building is historic and absolutely full of character. Excellent room. Super comfy, drinks facilities (very generously stocked) and a lovely modern bathroom. Pub itself is superb, with great beers (one of my favourites was on) that are well kept. The Doom Bar (normally an average but pleasant amber ale) tasted fresh and delicious. Food was served quick and was hot and tasty.

The living/eating area was stunning and homely, the bedroom outstanding with the highest specifications. The massage chair and the orthopedic bed... unbelievable. Staff very friendly, spa so relaxing, all included in our night away. We will definitely return for another wonderful visit.

The Beaumont had a lovely cosy feel to it, a light and airy breakfast room, excellent breakfast and welcoming hosts. Our room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. Good value and lovely couple running the and B. Couldn't do enough for us and they even run us to our car in the morning after leaving it overnight at a wedding 😊👍 thank you again.

The location was beautiful, quiet and set in the heart of rolling hills and woodland. Yet, not far from all the amenities on offer at Sittingbourne and Faversham. Kate was a great host and the breakfast absolutely delicious. The accommodation was sparkly clean and very comfortable. Thanks, Kate. We look forward to coming back.

Really great location! So easy to get around. The train station is very close with many local spots to eat. The rooms are good sizes and have everything. We requested cleans during our stay and that was taken care of really well. Worked from home a few days and the desk space was appreciated.
