Stunning Victorian architecture mixed with less appealing modern brutilsm. Unique mixture of ethnic restaurants & old fashioned Yorkshire values. Affordable & friendly. An underated & misunderstood city that is full of character & characters.

Tourist information helpful and people in city welcoming and friendly Plenty to do, including Industrytrial museum, Bolling Hall. Saltire Mill, lots o f greenery for such a big city including many parks included centinery park in city centre beside city hall which has been cleaned , and has an old clock that still chimes and has a magical sound. Plenty of different eateries. Lots of shopping including parts of Kirkgate market still original. Oastler centre has a variety of clothing meat and fruit and vegetable stores and of course Broadway . Bradford is a such a diverse city and has always welcomed immigrants from lots of counties and cultures , which makes is an interesting place to visit. There is a good bus service around the city, adequate transport me from 2 stations to other places nearby including free parking at Shipley and Pudsey train stations. It is a busy city to drive in. So enjoy

Head to the old Wool Exchange.

Head to the old Wool Exchange. It’s the best Waterstones in the country and you can sit in the great cafe and gaze upon the gothic splendour. The mirror pool outside the town hall is great fun and a place to gather in the summer. Out of the city centre, head to Haworth, the home of the Bronte sisters, Saltaire, a 19th village built by Sir Titus Salt for his workers and Bolling Hall, fantastic stately home beloved of generations in Bradford.

The breakfast was not what was described.

The breakfast was not what was described. You given a set menu of a few dishes. The coffee was cold, apart from milk there was no other vegan options. For breakfast they took the order but when the food came, items were missing. The fried eggs were uncooked and still quite watery as the white hasn't been cooked. Room was cold as heating wasn't working.

Bradford boasts some fine Victorian buildings.

Bradford boasts some fine Victorian buildings. But parts of the city look a mess. It’s a great location for visiting Brontë museum and Saltaire even without a car. It’s well served by trains and comfortable local buses. For night life try the sunbridge wells. Also try sone of the Anglo Pakistani restaurants. There are also real Ale pubs like historic Jacobs well. It’s an easy city to explore on foot.

The Hotel was excellent, outstanding building in the heart of Bradford. The Hotel had Bar for guests and did food if required. The Bed was comfortable room was very clean and kept in good condition. Value for money for our 2 night stay over. We had to leave fast due to train strikes and trains been cancelled but would have enjoyed staying the extra night if trains was ok. We will definately return when we next visit Bradford. Thank you to all staff for looking after us.

Comfortable bed, excellent location and nice decorations make this hotel the perfect place to stay. The plush mattress and soft pillows ensured really added a lot comfort to our night's sleep, while the convenient location allowed us to easy access the popular attractions and nearby restaurants. The beautiful decorations add a touch of elegance and create a welcoming atmosphere.

I wanted something different. The whole place welcomes you with a warm and comfortable decor, it feels like you're at home. If you're tired of the loneliness that comes with most hotels, try a couple of nights at Bradford Digs. You will be transposed to the most relaxing place you've been in a long time.
