We were there on a theatre visit. The city is in the middle of major refurbishment in the centre and many of the roads were closed to traffic but we were able to walk from the hotel to the theatre quite comfortably.
I like the look of the city and everyone we met seemed friendly.

Lots of areas to visit and close to places like: Saltaire and Haworth (Bronte Country) There is a lot of work being done in Bradford at the moment. I think this is because next year it is the City of Culture and they are preparing for it. I will definitely go back.

Didn't spend much time in Bradford itself which is presently in a mess preparing for city of culture in 2025. We were visiting Saltaire which was a very different matter and pleasant. Enjoyed visiting Salts Mill and East Ribblesden Hall near Keighley. Above all the visit enabled us to see oldest friends now living in Saltaire. Oh - would not advise driving in Bradford, a nightmare.

Bradford is a vibrant, multicultural city and seems to have lots of things - art, theatre, and live events, to enjoy. Great restaurants - we had an Indian meal at the Balti House, which was excellent value and very tasty.

With the Interchange closed to buses for the foreseeable future and many of the roads/pavements shut due to the extensive and seemingly unending roadworks my best advice is to avoid Bradford all together unless absolutely necessary.
Holiday Inn Express Bradford was exactly what we needed for the night. We went to see a concert at the Piece Hall and all the hotels in Halifax were booked so we came to Bradford for the night and we were really pleased with the hotel and the ease on the train to/from Halifax. If we go to a show at the Piece Hall again we will use this hotel again.
The staff were all so friendly, helpful & accommodating
Hotel was amazing. Lovely warm cosy and above all....quiet!!
The host was amazing went above and beyond before and after our stay to ensure everything was ready as it was a last min booking and to ensure we were happy after the stay. The rooms were a lovely standard. Soundproofed and very relaxing. This place is a hidden treasure in bradford.
Did not eat in at the hotel but loved the view of the canal that rated the good score. Next time I come I will give more time to do some walking on the bank.
The electric car charging was a great boon. The last time I stayed they were being installed.
The general location was perfect with its easy access to to Bradford etc.
I can make no negative comments on Leonardo Bradford. I stayed in a Leonardo Hotel in Germany and it was not as
clean or comfortable as Bradford. Breakfast was very good, and all the staff I spoke with were helpful pleasant and clear in their dealings with me. For the price, food, cleanliness, rooms etc all great.
I liked everything about our recent stay at Best Western Bradford Guide Post Hotel. The staff members were lovely. The room was spotless! We were at the front of the hotel and there is a main road that runs passed. Didn't hear any traffic. Great night's sleep. Free parking!
stylish boutique hotel in a very nice part of the Bradford area. free car park outside. very good breakfast included in the very reasonably priced hotel.
very clean and staff very nice and helpful. spacious room with comfortable beds and good shower.
Good central location, having parking spaces in a city centre hotel was great. The choice of buffet breakfast on Sunday morning was good . Staff at reception ,in the bar and the housekeeper we had contact with were all very helpful.
Check in and out were both smooth. Reception staff friendly and helpful. We picked this hotel primarily on location and proximity to family. I would say this is primarily a business hotel. It was generally clean.
The hosts cancelled our booking on the day claiming "Maintenance issues " with no apology given. We were already in Bradford when they cancelled.
DO NOT BOOK HERE!
We had to book another hotel for the night
The staff were the best, considerate and helpful. They responded to guests requests and needs. I loved the wood panelled foyer. This countryside on the edge of Bradford is lovely.
This hotel is clean and comfortable. It’s warm and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Really good value for money. First choice for a Bradford stay
